Long URLs
-
My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/
Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks.

It looks like there is a giant javascript form (
<form <="" span="">name="Form") on the page that is likely generating all those nonsense URLs. You're not actually linking to them with HTML anchors, but Google and other crawlers can still detect them.</form>

Pages with URL Too Long
Hello Mozzers! MOZ keeps kindly telling me the URLs are too long. However, this is largely due to the structure of E-commerce site, which has to include 'brand' 'range' and 'products' keyword. For example -
Moz Pro | | tigersohelll
https://www.choicefurnituresuperstore.co.uk/Devonshire-Rustic-Oak-Bedside-Cabinet-1-Drawer-p40668.html MOZ recommends no more than 75 characters. This means we have 25-30 characters for both the brand name and product name. Questions:
If it is an issue, how to fix it on my site?
If it's not an issue, how can we turn off this alert from MOZ?
Anyone know how big an issue URLs are as a ranking factor? I thought pretty low.0 -
How do I combat title tag issues in Moz because of long company/site name? [Currently using Yoast SEO Plugin]
I've only just started to dip my toe into the SEO pool, so please forgive me if this is a silly question. I've been working heavily in the Moz tool and the Yoast SEO plugin to clean up the meta descriptions on our site, as there were many pages without descriptions in place (we just transferred from a different CMS to Wordpress within the last month or so). Now I'm noticing on our Site Crawl that we have 60+ pages that have title elements that are considered too long. When I go in to fix these issues on our blog posts (as this is where most of the issues lie), Yoast is already giving me the green light on the title lengths. I've discovered that the reason why Moz is telling us that many of our site lengths are too long is because "| Parker Staffing Services" is added to the end of our title tags automatically. Deep breath Now that you've heard all of the backstory... Is there a way that I can prevent that site title (which is 26 characters all by itself! Talk about limiting!) from displaying on search engines when our blog posts or pages show up in search results? I've poked around in the Titles & Metas settings that come with Yoast, but I fear making too many changes will result in me screwing something up. Help an SEO beginner out? 🙂

No english Url = No sense symbols?
Hey there, i have a greek content website and some of the urls are greek (I did this for better SEO score).
Moz Pro | | tsalatzi
When i am using the analyze page issues and write down the greek url it doesnt find it (for example if i wrote down "www.euroulakia.com/πως-να-βγαλω-λεφτα" it displays me back "Sorry! We weren't able to find that page when we crawled your site") BUT when i just copy paste it from the url the moz finds it. However when i copy-paste the url changes the greek characters to no-sense symbols (for example the same above url becomes : http://www.euroulakia.com/πως-να-βγαλω-λεφτα) As you can see the url is written with non-sense symbols.. My question is if google see this no-sense symbol as well instead of the greek characters? I am using Joomla and i have: Search Engine Friendly URLs and Unicode Aliases setting to yes. Can anyone please help me with this because i have a feeling that something is wrong here. Thanks in advance0 -
How long will it take for Page Rank (or Page Authority) to flow via a 301 redirect?
I've recently redeveloped a static site using WordPress and have created 301 redirects for the original urls to the new urls. I know I won't get all the value passed via the 301, but I'm hoping some will. Any idea how long this may take? It's been nearly a month since the changeover so wondering if it would be weeks, months or more?

About how long does it take Google WMT to refresh stats on "Links to Your Site"?
About how long does it take Google WMT to refresh stats on "Links to Your Site"? We're dealing with an unnatural link/anchor phrase issue and I'm curious as to the "typical" time it takes for Google to recognize the links removal or Anchor Text change. Any refresh time ideas on OpenSiteExplorer or AHREFS as well would be a plus... Thanks! 4xx (not found) errors seem spurious, caused by a "\" added to the URL
Hi SEOmoz folks We're getting a lot of 404 (not found) errors in our weekly crawl. However the weird thing is that the URLs in question all have the same issue. They are all a valid URL with a backsalsh ("") added. In URL encoding, this is an extra %5C at the end of the URL. Even weirder, we do not have any such URLs in our (Wordpress-based) website. Any insight on how to get rid of this issue? Thanks
