Juicy link finder was really handy to help uncover websites, what is the alternative tool/s people would recommend?

Question about inbound links

Hi, When i run a scan for inbound links for the domain denverhongkongcafe.com/. One of the inbound links does not have the website denverhongkongcafe.com on its page. I viewed the source code and couldnt't find anything. But denverhongkongcafe.com links to that "inbound" link. Just to summarize everything. This link https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 is an inbound link but does not have denverhongkongcafe.com anywhere in the site. But when i go to denverhongkongcafe.com it goes to https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 . I am not sure how https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 is an inbound link?

Spammy inbound links: Don't Fix It If It's Not Broken?

Hi Moz community, Our website is nearing the end of a big redesign to be mobile-responsive. We decided to delay any major changes to text content so that if we do suffer a rankings drop upon launch, we'll have some ability to isolate the cause. In the meantime I'm analyzing our current SEO strengths and weaknesses. There is a huge discrepancy between our rankings and our inbound link profile. Specifically, we do great on most of our targeted keywords and in fact had a decent surge in recent months. But Link Profiler turned up hundreds of pages of inbound links from spammy domains, many of which don't even display a webpage when I click there. (shown in uploaded image) "Don't fix it if it's not broken" is conflicting with my natural repulsion to these sorts of referrals. Assuming we don't suffer a rankings drop from the redesign, how much of a priority should this be? There are too many and most are too spammy to contact the webmasters, so we'll need to do it through a Disavow. I couldn't even open the one at the top of the list because our business web proxy identified it as adult content. It seems like a common conception is that if Google hasn't penalized us for it yet, they will eventually. Are we talking about the algorithm just stumbling upon these links and hurting us or would this be something we would find in Manual Actions? (or both?) How long after the launch should we wait before attacking these bad links? Is there a certain spam score that you'd say is a threshold for "Yes, definitely get rid of it"? And when we do, should we Disavow domains one domain at a time to monitor any potential drops or all at once? (this seems kind of obvious but if the spam score and domain authority alone is enough of a signal that it won't hurt us, we'd rather get it done asap) How important is this compared to creating fresh new content on all the product pages? Each one will have new images as well as product reviews, but the product descriptions will be the same ones we've had up for years. I have new content written but it's delayed pending any fallout from the redesign. Thanks for any help with this! d1SB2JP.jpg

Site Explorer shows links as followable but they have nofollow tags

Hello, I am looking at site explorer and sites linking to my site moneyfact.co.uk. I've got thousands of links showing as 'followable' but when i check them they have rel="nofollow" tags. e.g: http://www.dianomioffers.co.uk/partner/moneyfacts.co.uk/brochures.epl?partner=93&partner_id=93&partner_variant_id=33 Why would they show as followable when the links are nofollowed? Does Google have a direct link with facebook and twitter?

Google monitor social media. What I'm wondering is do Google use the same tools we have on Facebook's API, Twitter's API etc to use in their SERPs Or do Facebook grant Google more detailed access to see who has liked links etc. I think it's quite an interesting point as surely I can push up my own count by repeatedly sharing my own links, which wouldn't be genuine. If Google had better access they could then determine what's been faked etc.

SEOMoz Link Analysis Not Updating?

Hi there, I am wondering why the Link Analysis in SEOMoz takes so long to recognise new back-links. I have had the same figures showing for months when I know that I have added a lot more backlinks that are showing in my Google WebMaster account and I have also proven exist by searching directly in Google's search engine. How often does the Link Analysis section update itself? Are these figures worth following at all or are they useless? Thanks!

Inbound Link Discrepancy: Campaign vs Open Site Explorer

Hello, I am getting starkly different inbound link amounts from Open Site Explorer and my Campaigns tab. Domain 1
Campaigns: Total links = 10,895,942 Open Site Explorer - Links = 224,000 Domain 2
Campaigns: Total links = 25,670,287
Open Site Explorer - Links = 157,000 Why would these be so different? For reference, the "Historical Domain Analysis" shows these sites getting exponentially more links starting in February. This is of concern to me. I didn't do anything different in February to get so many more links (especially not in the millions). If anything, I am hoping the "Campaigns" section is simply wrong about this.

Can I get a list of all links on a given domain?

Sorry, this is actually kind of a tripartite question: I was looking at the Competitive Link Analysis on one my clients' campaigns. Sometime between June and September their total links went up by about 120,000. We have no idea where those links came from (although the numbers would indicate that they're mostly internal). Question 1: In none of the other tools can I figure out how to list these links on a domain level. Is there a way to get a list of all links for our given domain? I've been playing around with the page-by-page and even that doesn't show me everything. For example, I'm looking at OSE for their homepage and it lists 45 links for a page that it claims has 151 total. Question 2: How did it pick those 45 to display out of the 151 possible? If these are only external links, why do half of them come from one of our subdomains? Also... Question 3: If our client hasn't made any major changes recently, why has the number of internal links gone up so dramatically? Thanks.

HUGE LINK!PR9 Not showing up

Hi ,My site is ranking very well.Although lacking large numbers of links ,Im only able to grasp the bottom page of First Page, Im in the position #6 through Position #10 with approximately 44 keywords. Its been about a year now so i think im doing well .. ** Here is my problem,** I recently was able to pick up a few very good High ranking backlinks ,They are in the Range of pr8 & 9 they have huge amounts of links pointing to them,One of them is a Dot Edu back link..Niether one of these are showing up..In fact , In the open site explorer i had a couple very high domain rank backlinks showing as my top link. This been there for 7 months They are gone...Now i have these 2 new backlinks both pr8 and pr9 not showing up in the top of the list..They are both cached .I can see them in the cached links .. ** But where the heck is my new links ??? been about 1-2 months ..shoudnt these show up in the top of open site exploreer?? Very aggrevating...Could this be open site explorer reading the site differently month after month??**
