No-index tags-Can they be used in internal linking?

On my site http://villasdiani.com I am using yoast seo plugin and have
I am using tags to organize category with villas on self-catering, full board etc but I have them set no-index as I believe they would create only duplicate content for the categories. Is it still ok to use this tags for internal linking?
Example: I have a post in my blog which links to category Beach Villas(they are set to be indexed) and I would like to add option also for self-catering villas itself, which is a tag(set no-index)
I am not sure if I am getting this right.

Yes, I recommend you do exactly that.
IMHO, tag links are useful for someone browsing your site to help them find categories of pages which suit what they are looking for. But tag links are generally not so good for search engines as they auto generate pages which you have no or limited SEO control over.

Link juice - What could be the reason for our bad internal page Page Authority
So OK we have a domain authority currently of 41, we are well established but unfortunately we don't have any pages with PA. I have a fair idea of why this is the case but want to get some other opinions before I form my strategy. 1.It appears our internal link structure is not great and is not very organised 2. It appears we have 58 links going externally on some pages. Some of these external links are social media icons in the footer which are followed. "Activating" Links - Do External Links Have to Be Clicked On to Really Have Value?
I heard an SEO talk about the concept of "activating" a link - meaning that if an external link to your site exists, but google doesn't detect that it has gotten any actual clicks, they will significantly discount or ignore the value of the link. How many nofollow links should we build to have a natural link profile
Hi guys, As with many link builders we have been building lots of dofollow links for our site, so many that mainly our incoming links are dofollow. Some pages have 99.5% dofollow external links which I know is not very natural. In your experience in terms of percentage how much should you have in terms of nofollow external links in your link profile. I noticed SEOMoz has about 12-13% nofollow external links, shall I go with this figure? Thanks guys. David
