Long URL in Daily Reports: Adding Dates instead of keywords
-
Hello,
One of my clients posts a daily review of the finance market.
it's been a discussion in our SEO team, whether to add the title to the URL or to write the date of the daily review in the URL instead.
Adding keywords instead of dates:
advantage: Adding keywords to the URL helping getting ranked for those keywords.
disadvantage: the URL comes out too long.what do you suggest in this case? keeping the keywords in the URL or adding dates instead and lose one of the important factors which affects getting ranked for the specific keywords.

I would use the keywords, imagine if you just had the title to go by what that would say to both the user and to Google's spiders.
-
I would certainly say keywords. Maybe shortening the folder name or whatever it is that is making it too long.

How to optimize home page for several keywords
My issue is this. I'm getting a lot of "F" grades for certain keywords to my homepage using MOZ. the thing is I can't add to many keywords to title tag without going over 65 characters. It seems the title tag is most important and even though i have keywords in content and everything else, without title tag keyword its useless. can creating more than one title tag help or will that make things worse with search engines?

How can I do to improve ranking for head keywords?
Hi guys, I'm currently working for an italian restautant finder web site http://www.cibando.com The site currently do not rank for any of the cityName pages eventhough all this pages received a B grade in the on-page report card by Seo Moz and have a great amount of internal links. This is an example of the pages I'm speaking about: http://www.cibando.com/ita/ristoranti/milano/milano As I can changeso little on this page, I'm thinking about creatinng a new cityName page having this URL http://www.cibando.com/ita/ristoranti-milano in which I add some text about the city and the restaurants people can have dinner at and add some link to the currently cityName page and categoryCuisine page. Is it a good idea? Do oyu have any suggestions? Any expert out there give an insight? Thanks in advance. Francesca

Google Analytics - Long keywords
Hi All, Question for you Google Analytics pros. In the keywords section of my account I see the various words that have been used to find my site. The top entry shows a big long line of text from my site and I wondered why this appears on the keywords. e.g Lets say I had "Today I went to the shops and bought a football" In the keywords I would normally expect to see 'football', 'shops' etc but instead I am actually seeing things like " went to the shops and bought a football". What causing this? Thanks all

Most Important Keyword Term
Question about a sites most important keyword term. So lets say you have a website and your most important keyword term is "Blue Widgets", you also have a page named "blue-widgets.htm". What do we do with our index page in this instance? Especially for the title tag? Should I put "Blue Widgets" in the title tags of both pages? I'm guessing this would be a duplicate meta tag error? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
