Need help understanding search filter URL's and meta tags
-
Good afternoon Mozzers,
One of our clients is a real estate agent and on that site there is a search field that will allow a person to search by filtered categories. Currently, the URL structure makes a new URL for each filter option and in my Moz reports I get the report that there is missing meta data. However, the page is the same the filter options are different so I am at a loss as to how to proper tag our site to optimize those URL's. Can I rel canonical the URL's or alt rel them?
I have been looking for a solution for a few days now and like I said I am at a loss of how to properly resolve these warning messages, or if I should even be concerned with the warning messages from Moz (obviously I should be concerned, they are warning messages for a reason).
Thank you for your assistance in advance!

I believe what you are saying is that every time, someone search for property, every new filter creates a new URL on runtime.
If this is the case, my advice is to exclude the search URLs from the index or rewrite the URL to make it one URL for all searches.
For instance, instead of new URLs on every filter, try to make a single URL for search like http://www.domain.com/seach.php. This way, the URL for the search will be similar for all the search combinations.
Hope this helps!

Title tags drawn from breadcrumbs
My client has a magento site that we've recently started working on. After the site was crawled by Moz a couple of times we noticed there was an issue with title tags being too long. However, when we looked closer at the data, Moz was seemingly picking up the breadcrumbs as the title tag. The actual tag is a small part of the breadcrumbs, but Moz was reporting they were the same. For example:

Breadcrumbs - home>products>category A of products
Title Tag - category A of products I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem? Is it Moz's mistake or is the title tag auto generating from the breadcrumbs and cutting off the beginning somehow? Any information would be really helpful, thanks.0 -
Is it important to have a Rel-Canonical tag on every webpage?
Our website just had its first crawl test and about 90% of the pages have the tag.

Meta keywords no longer in use
Can someone point me to the official article explaining why meta keywords are no longer taken into account by search engines please? I know Moz has indicated that search engines ignore them, but I would like to read a bit more about it - what was the reason behind it and since when.

On-Page URL
Hopefully I am missing something basic... I can't see how to specifically add and delete On-Page reports. It seems like running a report adds it but how to delete? Also, how does one change the URL for a report? I have re-organized some pages and can't seem the get the on-page report to keep my URL change. Here is what I tried. From the On-Page report card for a keyword I changed the URL and ran the test. Test runs ok but if I navigate back to the summary my old bad URL is still there.

Why can I only add three search engines to a campaign?
I need to track global keywords rankings for a web based product. Only being able to add three search engines to a campaign is limiting. I need to track at least 5 regional versions of Google, and curently have to duplicate my campaign to do this. would prefer to keep it under one campaign.
