Optimizing meta descriptions for click through

Hey guys!
I'm curious if anyone knows of any research or has any experience with using the word "buy" vs "shop for" as a call to action in meta descriptions, and what has better click through rates? A quick search of Google trends shows that they're both pretty close in terms of search, but im curious as to the psycological reaction that people have to those terms and what one they respond to better. I look forward to your response. Thanks!

"Buy" is clearly a better proactive call to action than "shop for". Anyway if you want to catch also not transactional traffic, I suggest you to include also to include a not transactional call to action.
E.G.: Buy "keyword" now, and check out our offers about "category related to products"

The word "Buy" is more about an action you want someone to perform, as opposed to "Shop For" which is "Let's go and look for something".
Assuming you are wanting someone to buy something from the page they land on, I would opt for "Buy". Been to a few conferences where this has cropped up in various guises.
Personally I never search for "Shop For" for anything, but always use "Buy".

App Store Optimization - Google Play Console A/B Testing: Should I Optimize for Active Devices or Users
Can't seem to find any ASO type of communities to ask this question to and since the Moz community has been so helpful, I thought I'd try this out. I've been doing A/B Testing for featured graphics on the Google Play Store. There are segments of active devices and users and I've been keeping track daily for ~1.5 months. The data that I have written down displays that active devices shows a positive, however users show a negative. Google Play Console choose to display the scaled installs for active devices. When we do A/B Tests on Google Play Console, should we choose the winner based on the active devices or users?

Tracking Adwords users who sumbit a contact form after clicking through my Landing page.
I have a user, Jane, who comes to my landing page through an AdWords campaign. She click off my landing page, browses the website, then submits a contact form on one of the other pages on the site. My problem is when I receive the email from the contact form, there is no identification that this user came through adwords. If she had submitted the contact form on my landing page this wouldn't be a problem, but she submitted the form from elsewhere on the site. I know that I can see a NUMBER of how many goal conversions were achieved this way in Analytics. This is not what I want. I need something to identify it on the CONTACT FORM so that the intake staff in my office can credit that lead to the correct campaign. Any idea on how to achieve this. Technically, I am using the latest version of Wordpress and the Contact Form 7 plug-in. I can change plug-ins if needed.

Brand Name: Conversion Rate Optimizing: Eponymous VS Generic
Good day all, We are entertaining the idea of changing the Domain Name & Brand Name for straplessfashion.com. While still in development, the website sells women undergarments. We did some survey research and it seems that women (age 18-40) really liked either "Demi's Dream" or "Almost Skin" as a good name. More specifically, Almost Skin seems to be the more popular choice over "Demi's Dream". I think "Almost Skin" catches attention quicker and may work best in PPC. However, when personalizing a brand name is considered, "Demi's Dream" might be the best choice. Would you please offer your advise on which of these two names might be the best for a new Domain and Brand name for the website mentioned above? Which would convert better? Thank you for your help. Adwords shows clicks but no conversions in GA
Hi Folks, I was wondering if anyone has come across a similar situation, I have setup adwords campaigns and included these in my Google Tag Manager setup and deployed the GTM snippet to a clients site. In adwords I can see clicks (2,000+) however in Google Analytics I can see only a handful ot conversions. Is there anyway I can test/track a conversion to ensure that it is being processed and report correctly? Also within AdWords Conversion Tracking I have noticed that under the "Webpages" tab that pages other than the pages that should have the conversion code on them are listed. Have I setup my Adwords camapign or GTM tags incorrectly? Any and all feedback or insight would be greatly welcomed and appreciated.

I listened to Adam Audette at Linklove in Boston this month and he spoke a little on creatively linking product pages back to their respective category pages - as it had an effect on the SEO... Capitilization in Meta Description
Hi, In a meta description I was wondering which is best for click through rate: A Meta Description Written Like This With Leading Capitals and Some Fully Capitalized Words Eg FREE, BUY NOW Etc? OR A meta description written normally like this without leading capitals and fully capitalized words? My initial thoughts is the capitalised one stands out more and may get more click throughs, but I also don't see anyone else doing it this way so I was wondering what the generally accepted thought is on which one improves the CTR more?

Contact page lead optimization
Hi, I have a client whose contact page is the second most visited after the home page. However, there is a 93.65% abandonment rate on the contact page. This could be for a number of reasons: There is a phone number on the page, so people may call the firm There is a Google Map on the page, so people may get directions The top next pages are: Exiting the site (about 50%) Returning to the home page Going to the About the Company page Going to the Distributors page (the company is a manufacturer) What is the best way to analyze the performance of this page?
