I would like to increase mentions to my site and brand. I thought the Q&A sites might be useful here (like Yahoo Answers). Can anyone give me some tips where to go and what to do? I would be very happy about that

But, I have also found Quora to be pretty good, and is more reputable than some.

Anyone Willing or Able to Help Out For A Good Cause? Trying to help a very pleasant women and her son who have recently fallen on hard times

Hi all, Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you are interested in helping out, feel free to direct message me for more information. Earlier this week I received a call from a very pleasant women named Martha. Her son owns a small site dedicated to his work as a pianist (can see the site here). They are having issues gaining traction in Google, they are not tech/search savvy and are looking for SEO help. They really do not have much to spend so partnering with an agency or hiring an SEO is not really an option. The part that is eating me up is the fact that Martha recently lost her husband and that left both of them in a very tough spot emotionally and financially. They are trying to build up visibility for the site with the hopes of finding more work for her son to help support them. Frankly, the site needs a good amount of work. It is a small one-page squarespace website. New pages need to be created, the site needs to be optimized and backlinks need to be acquired. If anyone is willing or able to help, please let me know. I am trying to help them where I can (guidance for how to optimize, they provided me the squarespace login so I may start going in and making changes for them) but unfortunately I do not have the time to give this project the attention that it deserves. Even if it is something as small as throwing a link their way, it would be very much appreciated. It doesn't have to be SEO specific either, if you can help them on social I'm sure that would be appreciated as well. Again, I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Difference Between Authorship & Publishership?

I am working for a business and I would like my Google+ posts to show the business picture/information and not my own. Does this mean I would leave authorship blank and use a rel=publisher tag instead? Or is it bette rto do both? I don't really know much about the subject so feel free to let the schooling begin!

Knowledge Graph for brand term has stopped appearing

Hi everyone Our brand has an active G+ page (updated daily).
Our G+ is also linked to our site, verified, and we were lucky enough to get a vanity URL of our choice after our Google overlords confirmed it for us. When searching a specific brand term within Google UK, Knowledge Graph appeared with a link to our G+ page, logo and links to our last two G+ posts.
Much like if you search 'seomoz' This has now mysteriously vanished.
It could be a coincidence but it vanished roughly around the same time as we got our vanity G+ URL. I asked about on Google product forums but to no avail. Anyone else experienced this? Or even know how to get Knowledge Graph back to how it was? Thanks!

What is The Time/Cost For SEO In Rebranding A Large Site

From an SEO agency perspective. What would be the estimated man hours and hard cost to rebrand a large site (1000+pages)? And all that would go into it, like 301 redirects and etc.? I have a pretty good idea, of what it would take and how perilous it could be from an SEO perspective. Because of anchor text / 301 redirects / organic potential traffic loss and etc. I just don't know the man hours and hard cost would be.

Press Release Best Practices - should I add the PR to my site?

I wanted to know the best practice for SEO when it comes to press releases. If I publish a press release through a site like PRWeb or PRNewswire, can I also add the same press release to my site in the "news" section or will that create duplicate content issues? Would it make sense to include a summary of the press release on my site and then add a link to the press release hosted on the PR service's site? I don't necessarily want to take people away from my site, but I'm not sure if putting the whole release in both places makes sense. Thanks!

Is duplicating video across several sites a bad thing?

Hi, We have a fairly successful YouTube Channel where we create unique and helpful videos that are related to our core business activity. When we create these videos would you consider it a bad thing to not only post them on YouTube but also a couple of the smaller sites such as Metacafe and Dailymotion? Sending to multiple sites would possibly achieve more total views but would this kind of duplication potentially be harmful to the overall success of the video and have a knock on effect when it comes to how it ranks in Google? Need to create more profile pages for my brand, any suggestions for strong sites that will rank high? Done the obvious ones like Twitter, FB and Linkedin

I am looking for sites that will rank high in SERP's for my brand name, any suggestion would be great. I am not looking for links from these sites.
