Is it possible to set up one of the Goal Conversions on Google Analytics for a different site?
-
We are in the process of a website migration and need to set up the conversions for the new site. What is the most effective way of doing this?
-
You should be able to use the same GA tracking code on your new site that you were using on your old site, yes, and then just set goals for whatever you want to track. Make sure to annotate when you made the switch so you have that information going forward. If the two sites will be live at the same time at all, I recommend doing some research into cross-domain tracking with GA so that traffic from one site to the other isn't counted as referral traffic. Good luck!

We are currently migrating our website and need to start tracking goal conversions for the new site. Can we use the current Google Analytics set up for the current site and just change the goal conversions once the new site is live for tracking purposes?

Do modal pop-ups impact the Google Analytics of the host page?
We have an instance of a page where visitors can click a button to start an interactive quiz. The quiz pops up in a modal window that references another domain (the interactive content provider). Will the person completing the quiz in the modal pop-up still be counted as an active visitor on the original host page during the time they are completing the quiz?

Hour of the day that my analytics goals are being triggered within the all traffic report.
I am trying to identify the hour of the day that particular keywords (organic and PPC) are triggering my goals. Ideally I'd like to be able to use the all traffic report with the secondary dimension set as keyword. Hopefully I'm missing something simple, thanks all. Mark

Google Analytics: how many visits from country Google domains?
Hello, I manage a site with visitors from many different countries. With Google Analytics, it is normal to see the number of visitors from each search engine. However, I would like to identify the number of visitors from each Google-search contry domain. How many visitors from Google.com? How many from Google.co.uk. And from Google.co.zm? And so on. Anybody knows if this is possible and if yes, how can it be done? Thank you in advance, Dario
