Disabling auto-loading of Disqus Comments
-
We use Disqus for our comments. However, one of the issues we notice from time to time is that it takes some time to load.
So we were thinking of using the Disqus Conditional Load plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/disqus-conditional-load/) so that only readers who are interested in comments can click on a "View Comments" button to load the comments.
However, I wanted to know if disabling the auto loading of comments is a good idea from an SEO point of view. On one hand, it should reduce the page load times which should help, but just want to know if there are any issues I should be aware of before using the plugin.

Hi there.
It's known that comment section is not awesome at all in the eyes of google, typically due to spamminess, so attention paid to such sections is way lower than to other content on the page. Also, as far as I remember, Disqus is being loaded through deferred JS, into an Iframe, meaning that it would not be even considered as part of your website. Also, plugins like that are usually loaded with deferred JS, which means your loading times shouldn't be affected. Therefore, it shouldn't really matter what you do to it to do impact (if any at all) on your SEO.
Concentrate on your own content, my friend.

Async JavaScript page load times affect on ranking.
Our company plan to use in our product page a live chat support app. But I concern about the page load time. The script is loading asynchronous and in the inner tests increase the average page load time with around one sec. Previously the load time was between 2.5-3.3 sec after the chat support increased to 3.8-5 sec, but sometimes there was extreme +10 sec worse results. My question is how much can this impact to our search engine rankings?

.htaccess file uploaded, website won't load
I uploaded the .htaccess file with the below, and now my website won't load at all? Then I deleted the htaccess file and it still won't load? But then it would load on my phone when I took it down, not on chrome, or explorer? Then I put it back up and looked again on my phone, wouldn't load on phone. Then deleted file and it still won't load on my phone? What is going on? RewriteEngine on

SEOmoz tells me that I have too many links, however most of them are comments...
Is this affecting the overall ranking of the page? http://www.smileclinic.sk/zubne-implantaty/ (164) http://www.smileclinic.sk/zubne-korunky/ (179) If so how can I disallow them? We use Wordpress with the Joost SEO plugin, but I don't see a disallow option there for comments...

Should I use this Facebook comment content on my related blog post?
I have a blog post that ranks pretty high for the term "justin bieber tickets". We are running a ticket giveaway and have received tons of responses on Facebook and G+. The responses are often poorly written in they sense that they are from younger fans, but it is a bunch of related content that I thought could be a "good "addition of unique content to the post. Is this a good idea in general? Is it still a good idea if the comments are poorly written and contain lots of slang an exclamation points? Is it bad form to put people's Facebook comments live on the web, even though it is a public page. Here is the post Example of what this would look like in the post >http://cl.ly/1Q3N0t091V0w3m2r442G Source of comments >http://www.facebook.com/SeatGeek Another less aggressive option would be to curate some of my favorite comments... Thanks for any thoughts.

Comment Plugin
We are set to relaunch our site on wordpress and will be creating a traditional blog section in the process. With doing so, we want to allow commenting on our blog; however, we are trying to find the best to accomplish our main goals of 1) increasing SEO and 2) creating a conversation hub that will refresh on page content I have looked toward the Facebook comment plugin; however, it doesnt add to the pages code (essentially seems that all comment posts are hidden in javascript). This does little to accomplish our goal of refreshing page content, but it does allow users an easy and seamless way to add to the conversation is a useful tool to get a mention on social channels. The thing we do like about more traditional plugins is 1) the ability to post the comment to the html so we can increase the refresh rate of page content and 2) ability to block IPs since we will likely allow comments to be open instead of requiring approval first (we want ppl to add to the conversation in real time to motivate more back and forth) so, with all that said, just looking to get opinions on the best comment plugins available to achieve our main goals of increasing our content SEO and refreshing page content by allowing seamless, user friendly commenting features.
