Inbound links not found in Moz Pro(though they exist)
-
These sites have many inbound links but Moz Pro finds no such links. I also used SimilarWebPro Trial to confirm the existing of such links. (these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP)
Could anyone figure out why Moz can't find those links to those sites? Any tricks in place to hide those links from SeoMoz?
If I pay to upgrade SimilarWebPro but Id rather stay with SeoMoz Pro.
thanks in advance.

Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
I think the reason you're not able to find inbound links for those sites is just what you mentioned: you need a VPN to be able to access the sites with a Japan IP address. Our tools won't be able to get around that IP block, so we won't be able to find links pointing back to those sites. Sorry about that!If you have any more questions we can help with, feel free to send us a note at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to answer all your questions.

Moz Pro OSE is great, but if you are doing an in-depth inbound link analysis, it is a good idea to cross-reference with Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, and/or SEMrush as well. Usually these tools will show different numbers for unique domains and total backlinks. This is of course not taking into account the IP block you mentioned above.

I think you answered your own question: "these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP"

Question about link report
Hey all, SEO noob here, back with another question. I downloaded a link report, and I don't understand the columns Links to Page, Outbound Domains from Page, and Outbound Links from Page. Is Links to Page the number of links from the source page to the target page? Is Outbound Domains from Page the number of domains linked to by the source page? Is Outbound Links from Page the number of outbound links to any domain or page from the source page? Thanks in advance! AK

Page Authority different between Moz Open Site Explorer and On Page analyser
I have a client who has an old URL with 3 linking root domains and 4 links, with a PA of 24. This is on the open site explorer. There is a 301 redirect in place to direct this old url to the new url. When he uses the Moz bar on page, it shows that he has a PA of only 1 with no LRDs or inbound links? Can anyone please explain why this is happening and if this could affect further page links across his site? It would be appreciated. Kind regards

Site moved to https and not showing any Moz DA or PA
Hello Fellow Mozzers, So, I have a client site that we moved from non https to https at the end of 2015. We had decent moz numbers (Da/Pa etc) but now we are only showing a 1 for both of them. Does it usually take time for Moz to carry over the info to the https version or does that process entirely start over? Not sure where to start looking. Cheers D

Question in regards to Comparing Metrics with MOZ tools
Hi all! After using the "Compare Links Metrics" in the research tools, a few questions popped up. Particularly, in regards to what key metrics to look for when determining if a websites outbound links are trustworthy and may pass Link-juice. Basically, "if my link is put on that website, will search engines trust it"? I've copied an example below and typed a few comments next to particular metrics. Please share some insight them: Page Authority: 48 Page MozRank: 4.94 -Is 4.94 considered OK? Page MozTrust: 4.96 -Is 4.96 considered OK? Open Site Explorer and Expired Links?
Hi guys, I've been checking a few domains for SEO purposes and it appears that OSE is indexing a lot of links which no longer exist, this has been the case for over 6 months - does OSE cleanse expired links? As I'm sure they will be contributing to authority in the eyes of Moz?

Does Feedburner URL of the Home Page Carry Link Equity?
Hi There, During an SEO Audit, I found that OSE categorizes Feedburner URL of root domains under link-equity passing and followed. For example, the following link has been categorized under link-equity passing and followed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/SpoonflowerBlog I have heard that a lot of SEOs saying feedburner links don't carry any link juice. If that's true, then why does OSE categorize feedburner URL of root domains under link-equity passing and followed? I would appreciate if someone from the Moz staff could take some to answer this. Thanks.
