How do I write for SEO?

I am starting to write a blog and I wanted to know how to write for SEO correctly? I have been reading a lot about this subject lately and I found very different opinions in terms of length and keyword use.
Could you give me some advise about this?

Choose your subject, select your primary keyword, search and find the article that ranks in the top, write a better article than that

The best way to 'write for SEO' is to take your subject and produce the best page on the internet, ever.
Once you're happy with the page, start to include keywords or phrases your audience might connect with, or search for.

So I thought where is better to ask my question 🙂 My q is: Does the country that you are living in and publishing your post affect your SEO if you blog in English? Outsource Content Writing Services - Who Is The Best?
Hello fellow Mozers! We are currently in the process of hiring an additional content developer but he doesn’t start for a couple weeks. We have some work that is piling up and I am considering outsourcing some content development until the new hire gets here. I have looked into Scripted, TextMaster, CrowdContent and a few others. I stay away from sites like UpWork and Fiverr because I abuse them in the past and I don’t get quality work. Writing on 2 Very Separate Topics. Will Authorship Be Affected?
Hi guys, During the day I'm a PPC and SEO associate at a software company that provides merchant accounts and payment processing for small business owners. Think PayPal meets Quickbooks. For this job, I write lots of content on payment processing, merchant accounts, the benefits of ACH transfers, etc. However, during the evenings, I work on my side-business, which is a fitness marketing company. For this site I'm doing lots of content production based on increasing gym membership, crossfit marketing, etc. I'm getting authorship for all of the posts I'm writing (my image is showing up in SERPs). Do you guys think there is any adverse effects to having authorship on content that is so drastically different? Will Google punish us for having 50% of my posts are about merchant accounts and the other 50% are about fitness marketing? Thanks!

How does one write different pages of their website that are very similar in nature with using too much duplicate content?

Is Creating a Lot of Content A Bad SEO Strategy?
In Danny Dover's book, Search Engine Optimization Secrets, he talks about how every page on your site should be at least a little linkworthy, or it is just sucking link juice from the rest of the site and not contributing any. Does this mean that creating a lot of content, (like a daily news article on your site that summarizes industry news or something similar) is not a good SEO strategy? Should you limit the amount of content pages on your site unless it can attract links or hits on one of your target keywords? Thanks!
