Suddenly Getting more than a 100 links. Is it a problem?
-
Hi Everyone,
My client writes articles for a very prominent news source in the area where I live. Attached to each article there is her bio, but she never asked the news source to link to her website. So far, she has written more than 100 articles.
What would happen if the news source suddenly links 100 times to her site? Would this be considered spammy from google or unnatural link building?
Thank you very much for your answers.
Arben

1- Usually, of the author box on News and Magazine websites allow you to put your link, but usually is a No-follow link, the rel=nofollow links reign in the land of social media profiles, comments, and publishers. If that is the case
The true is rel=nofollow links will not improve your ranking, will not pass you DA, so from the** Google Index Perspective** they are useless. That means that if you go to your Search Console and look for the site linking to your site you will notice that Google will ignore those links. But this just a general answer.
Not every News and Magazine websites follow the same protocols, so probably some will have a do-follow link on author box, also that website gets some mentions, and probably those articles have some links on the body pointing to that site( I don't know). In any case, if the website gets 100 links from Trusted websites you don't have to worry about it.

How vital is it to get rid of spam links?
We have about 40, between 1-4 flags. Do you see this as a problem? We looked at the disavow feature, but it seems you need to be cautious about using it. Please advise. Thanks!

What is the number of links do you require your link builder to attain each week or month? What is a reasonable goal?
Hello Mozzers... I would like to get a survey or feedback from other Mozzers who owns an SEO company or manages / hire link builders. **What is the average number of links does your link builder need to attain per week or month? what is their goal? ** I understand quality over quantity but I want to make sure there is a reasonable average to provide them goals and something to achieve on. Of course reward them more if they exceed or get .edu links. What do you institute? What do you think is fair and achievable per website? PS. There is no right or wrong answers here. I am looking for a measurable answer not subjectable. Again just gathering MEASURABLE GOALS.

Link profile problem? User-generated reviews website suffering after Penguin
Hi all, We run a user-generated reviews website and we link to the websites of businesses with reviews. Many of them also link back to their reviews page (and in fact, we give them a widget to encourage this). I have a couple of questions about this; Most of these links are to legitimate, but fairly small and unknown businesses - which means a lot of our inbound (and outbound) links are low quality. Could this be hurting us? Given that the links are 2-way, could this be viewed as spam? Some businesses (including a couple with high traffic) have included our widget in their website footer - so there are thousands of (low quality) links from a single domain. Problem? The reason I'm asking is that our traffic suffered in the Panda update, and is again suffering with Penguin - despite the fact that we have a lot of unique content in the form of user-reviews. We've never engaged in any black-hat techniques. Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated. SEO novice here!

Links from Real Estate Websites Link Page, Do or Don't?
It seems that real estate sites have at times been under heavier scrutiny from the search engines. But real estate agents get networking, which makes acquiring those links a little bit easier. Plus with localization of search, I think real estate sites may give off a good GEO scent. Should SEO's go for links from real estate websites? Does a reciprocal link devalue said links?

Making sure links get indexed by google?
Hi I currently submitted to 30 seo directories & I just want to make sure my links get indexed by google so the link value passes onto my site. Any suggestions about getting my links indexed? I was thinking of either pinging or social book marketing the links! What's your view, thanks.
