Www or https only
-
All pages are secure on my website now.
Some of my pages listed on Google are now https://domain.com and some are https://www.domain.com
Which format should I use and why? (with www or without?)
I want to give Google a new site map URL in the Google search console?
Yes I know both URLs go to the same page.

according to the user point of view then both URL the same but if I think from google indexing then both are different URLs so you can do implement 301 permanent redirections even my website had the same problem but I sorted - definitiveinfo

My site not displaying after https integration. kindly check here thangapushpam.com
Any solution from experts? -
Check which architecture receives your highest quality backlinks and then force that structure using 301 redirects

SEO-Wise it is the same whether you include the www or you don't, but since you mention that on some of the pages indexed it shows with the www and on others it doesn't, then you should do a 301 redirect to the option you like. Having both options accessible can make it possible for the search engines to rank them as different pages, although that would be unlikely.
I personally prefer not to include the www because I want my URLs to be shorter. Other people think that including the www can make the URL look a little more professional, but in the end it's just a matter of personal preference. As long as you stick to one option, you should be totally fine.

Duplicate Content Showing up on Moz Crawl | www. vs. no-www.
Hello Moz Community! I am new to SEO, Moz and this is my first question. My questions; I have a client that is getting flagged for Duplicate Content. He is getting flagged for having two domains that have the same content i.e. www.mysite.com & mysite.com. I read into this and set up a 301 redirect through my hosting site. I evaluated which site had a stronger Page Authority and had the weaker site redirect to the stronger site. However, I am still getting hit for Duplicate pages caused by the www.mysite.com & mysite.com being duplicates. How should I go about resolving this? Is this an example of a Canonical tag needed in the head of the HTML? Any direction is appreciated. Thank You. B/R Will H.

Redirect root domain to www
I've been having issues with my keyword rankings with MOZ and this is what David at M0Z asked me to do below. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'm not 100% sure what to do. Does it hurt ranking to have a domain at the root or not? Can I 301 redirect a whole site or do I have to do individual pages. "Your campaign is looking for rankings for the www version of the campaign but the URL resolves as a root domain. This would explain the discrepancy. Since there is no re-direct between the two, you can have brickmarkers.com 301 re-direct to www.site.com which will prevent you from re-creating your campaign to track the root domain. Once the re-direct is in place it will take a while for Google to show the www version in the results in which your campaign rankings will be accurate." Thanks

Redirect non www. domain to WWW. domain for established website?
Hey guys, The website in question has been online for more than 5 years but there are still 2 versions of the website. Both versions are indexed by Google and of course, this will result in duplicate content. Is it necessary to redirect the non-www domain to the www. domain. What are the cons and advantages? Will the www. links replace the non-www links when it comes to keyword rankings? Thanks.

Http & https canonicalization issues
Howdyho I'm SEOing a daily deals site that mostly runs on https Versions. (only the home page is on http). I'm wondering what to do for canonicalization. IMO it would be easiest to run all pages on https. But the scarce resources I find are not so clear. For instance, this Youmoz blog post claims that https is only for humans, not for bots! That doesn't really apply anymore, right?

Help! Need advice for a new HTTPS URL!
Hi. We have just launched a new website that is fully secure with the HTTPS url. You can still access the home page with an ordinary HTTP address. That is what we want to change. Should we forward the HTTP url to the HTTPS? Redirect? It is the same URL for both. http://www.parrotmoon.com Thank you for all ideas! Jay

Yahoo non www in SERPS
My site never shows the www in the yahoo SERPS. I don't do well with ranking in yahoo. Could these two facts be related? How do I get one canonicalization - preferably the www in yahoo?
