Top pages > PNGs, JPGs & PDFs > What to do?
-
After exporting Top pages list in Moz Pro, I noticed lots of pages with high PA (page authority) are actually random images (.png & .jpg) and documents (.pdf).
Question 1: Should I make a redirect 301 from an image/document to the actual webpage? If not, what should I do to keep the ranking, but point the URL to the correct place?
In addition, lots of highly ranking URLs are actually outdated. They are coming from the old website. I switched to the new one more than a year ago.
Question 2: If I create a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one, will I keep the high ranking?
Thanks,

Anja,
Have you looked at your google analytics to see if those resources are bringing in any traffic?
Generally, yes, you should redirect those resources.

On page grader not working with Squarespace?
The on page grader tool does not seem to be able to access Squarespace websites. I've tried several website urls that are all hosted on square space with the same result "Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible." Is this a known incompatibility or a bug? examples: lightningjar.agency (a site I manage) flotrend.com (a site that a friend manages) ollymoss.com (a site chosen at random from SquareSpace.com featured websites list)

URL inaccessible for On Page Grader
I am trying to use the on page grader however it is not working with my website. The URL is as follows: https://capbeast.com. I have been trying to read in older posts to see if https is now supported or not but have not found anything. I know there is no robots.txt issue as I am able to run the crawl test on our website fine. Is the issue on my end in regards to configuration or is due to DDos attacks? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have been unable to use the export button on any of the Moz pages.
Every time I click the export button on the upper right portion of the page, it says "preparing to export", but either nothing is exported or a blank document is downloaded. I was specifically working with the Fresh Web Explorer but have noticed this on all pages. Is anyone getting this export function to work?

"Sorry! We weren't able to find that page when we crawled your site." Please help!
Can someone please explain whey I am getting this error for this link "http://lensoutloud.com/san-antonio-real-estate-photography/" when I attempt to perform an on page SEO grading? The link is indexed and ranking very well but for some reason Moz says it can't find the page when it crawled my site. This has also happened when I attempt to grade other pages on my site. Thanks in advance!
