Pages with Duplicate Content

When I crawl my site through moz, it shows lots of Pages with Duplicate Content. The thing is all that pages are pagination pages.

How should I solve this issue?

I follow proper pagination rules like rel next rel prev and canonicalized each of the paginated page. like for page 2 canonical is page 2.

Have you looked into canonicalization? If the pages are dupes or substantially duplicates, use the rel=canonical tag to show google that there is only one main one you need indexed.

Content incorrectly being duplicated on microsite

So bear with me here as this is probably a technical issue and i am not that technical. We have a microsite for one of our partner organisations and recently we have detected that content from our main site appearing in the URLs for the microsite - both in search results and then when you click through to the SERP. However, this content does not exist on the actual website at all. Anyone have a possible explanation for this? I have tried searching the web but nothing. I assume there is something in the set up of the microsite that is associating it with the content on the main site.

150+ Pages of URL Parameters - Mass Duplicate Content Issue?

Hi we run a large e-commerce site and while doing some checking through GWT we came across these URL parameters and are now wondering if we have a duplicate content issue. If so, we are wodnering what is the best way to fix them, is this a task with GWT or a Rel:Canonical task? Many of the urls are driven from the filters in our category pages and are coming up like this: page04%3Fpage04%3Fpage04%3Fpage04%3F (See the image for more). Does anyone know if these links are duplicate content and if so how should we handle them? Richard I7SKvHS

Home Page Blog Snippets - Duplicate Content Help?

Afternoon Folks- I have been asked to contribute to a new site that has a blogfeed prominently displayed on the home page. It's laid out like this: Logo | Menu HOME PAGE SLIDER Blog 1 Title about 100 words of blog 1 Text Blog 2 Title about 100 words of blog 2 Text Blog 3 Title about 100 words of blog 3 Text Footer: -- This seems like an obvious duplicate content situation but also a way I have seen a lot of blogs laid out. (I.E. With blog content snippets being a significant portion of the home page content) I want the blogs to rank and I want the home page to rank, so I don't feel like a rel canonical on the blog post's is the correct option unless I have misunderstood their purpose. Anyone have any ideas or know how this is usually handled?

Duplicate content question...

I have a high duplicate content issue on my website. However, I'm not sure how to handle or fix this issue. I have 2 different URLs landing to the same page content. http://www.myfitstation.com/tag/vegan/ and http://www.myfitstation.com/tag/raw-food/ .In this situation, I cannot redirect one URL to the other since in the future I will probably be adding additional posts to either the "vegan" tag or the "raw food tag". What is the solution in this case? Thank you

Duplicate Content

Hi, I'm working on a site and I'm having some issues with its structure causing duplicate content. The first issue is that the search pages will show up as duplicates.
A search for new inventory may be new.aspx
The duplicate may be something like new.aspx=page1, or something like that and so on. The second issue is with inventory. When new inventory gets put into the stock of the store, a new page for that item will be populated with duplicate content. There appears to be no canonical source for that page. How can I fix both of these? Thanks!

I have a ton of "duplicated content", "duplicated titles" in my website, solutions?

hi and thanks in advance, I have a Jomsocial site with 1000 users it is highly customized and as a result of the customization we did some of the pages have 5 or more different types of URLS pointing to the same page. Google has indexed 16.000 links already and the cowling report show a lot of duplicated content. this links are important for some of the functionality and are dynamically created and will continue growing, my developers offered my to create rules in robots file so a big part of this links don't get indexed but Google webmaster tools post says the following: "Google no longer recommends blocking crawler access to duplicate content on your website, whether with a robots.txt file or other methods. If search engines can't crawl pages with duplicate content, they can't automatically detect that these URLs point to the same content and will therefore effectively have to treat them as separate, unique pages. A better solution is to allow search engines to crawl these URLs, but mark them as duplicates by using the rel="canonical" link element, the URL parameter handling tool, or 301 redirects. How can i resolve Duplicate Page Content?

Query string in url - duplicate content?

Hi everyone I would appreciate some advice on the following. I have a page which has some nice content on but it also has a search functionality. When a search is run a querystrong is run. So i will get something like mypage.php?id=20 etc. With many different url potentials, will each query string be seen as a different page? If so i don't want duplicate content. So am i best putting canonical tags in the head tags on mypage.php ? to avoid Google seeing potential duplicate content. Many thanks for all your advice.
