Campaign keywords (48) and on page report (17)
-
I go into my campaign keywords and have 48, but when I view my on page report only 17 show up? All keywords have been in there since last Friday except 2-26-11, 4 I added this Friday 3-4-11.

Thanks Mike
It's seem to be a combination of keywords I selected and the keywords on my site as to what shows up.

Hi Randy,
The Web App will try to find pages that rank well and score well in the On Page Report. Just because you have added 48 keywords doesn't mean that you will get 48 on page reports. Usually when I find a situation like this I find that my site isn't well optimized for the keywords that I entered. If you want to view the on page report for a specific keyword and page you can run it manually also.

In my expience, the reports you see are the sum of two things (1) it automatically includes a report in cases where your site is in the top 50 results of the SERPs for each campaign keyword, and (2) you can manually cause it to add a report by going to the Report Card page (second sub-menu choice on the On Page page) and giving it the keyword and then the URL you want it to report on for that keyword. I believe it will remember these manual pairing additions between sessions (mind seems to). This manual process is very helpful when you are working through your on-page optimization so you can see how you're doing (from an on-page point of view) before you achieve top-50 status in the SERPs.

Hi David
I'm new to SeoMoz and just feeling my way around the tools and assumed that I'd get an on page for all my keywords? Because when I go add in the on page section all my keywords are there? Thanks for the support contact email.

If I am understanding this correctly, campaign keywords are keywords you track for rankings and the on-page report shows you pages that are optimized to those keywords so you could be tracking keywords for pages that are not built, does that make sense or am I smoking something funny today?

Hey experts, I hope you are doing great, kindly have a look at this page, my keyword for this page is "Sports Streaming Sites". The text has a length of 5344 words and I'm using my keyword in this post as follow: 1. Text Body: 12 times(including headers)

2. Alt tags: 10 times (20+ Images)
3. Title: 1 Time
4. Description: 1 Time
5. Permalink: 1 Time This is a total of 25 times in 5344 words, but when I check this page with moz on-page grader, it shows that I'm using this keyword 40 times and its stuffed, can anybody please explain it to me, I'm so confused and it'll be so nice of you. Here is the on-page grader report page: https://analytics.moz.com/pro/research/page-grader?keyword=Sports%20Streaming%20Sites&url=https%3A%2F%2Firiveramerica.com%2Ffree-best-sports-streaming-sites%2F0 -
Why would I be ranking for a term when it's not anywhere in my page or pages linking to it?
Hi, I have a keyword that's not anywhere in my page in page-grade tool nor are any pages linking to it with that term, why would that be ranking. The term is "dynamic card solution" This is a company we used to have 5 years ago and merged with our company. This term is ranking #1 for this page- http://www.datacard.com/instant-issuance-solutions . I can't figure why that would be even as this is a newer page in the past year. Thanks for any insight as I'm newer to moz. Laura

15-20 images on a page / Alt Tag them or not with the keyword phrase?
I have a site that easily has 15-20 images per product page, giving the users ideas of what they can do with the product design. All of them have an alt tag with the keyword phrase in it. There is also an H1, H2, sometimes an H3, body copy with the keyword phrase 1-3 times, bold when it seems like a good time to emphasize it. Just in the images alone, we've exceeded the recommended 15 keyword phrases on a page. Moz On Page Grader says the following: Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document We've seen evidence that excessive use of keywords can negatively impact rankings and thus suggest moderation. Recommendation: Remove instances of the targeted keyword(s) from the document text of this page to bring it below 15 What's the recommendation for the image alt tags? We'd like the images to show up in Google Images, so they should have the tag, right? What's the right way to handle this for SEO purposes? Someone's suggested naming 1/2 of the images one keyword phrase, and the other 1/2 an altogether different one, not searched nearly as often as the primary keyword phrase.

Campaign Keyword Overview?
This may be more of a developmental comment, however... Is there any way to pull an overview of keyword ranking over the week (or any period of time) for one of your campaigns? It looks like you can pull graphs on individual keyword performance, however not for the full set of keywords for a campaign. Anyone have suggestions on how to do this within Pro Moz... or is it best to compile the keyword data every week and track it in Numbers or Excel? Thanks everyone!

Keywords Best Practices for On-Page Optimization
Hi guys, we've successfully optimized our home page such that it receives a Grade A for 3 completely different, high traffic keywords. Looking forward to seeing the results! The keywords in question were identified by using the monthly searches reported from the Google Keyword Tool. For one of the keywords, the Google Keyword Tool differentiates between what I thought would be seen as being the same. For example, let's say Google reports these three keywords as high traffic keywords: tea cup
Moz Pro | | yacpro13
tea cups
the tea cup Using the On-Page Report Card, we get a Grade A for 'tea cup', but we get an F for the other 2 terms! I thought Google searches didn't really care about the plural form or adding the word 'the' in front. How should we interpret the result from the On-Page Report Card for the plural form of the keyword and with the word 'the' added in front? Would you track all 3 instances of the keyword independtly in your campaign, or would you just track 'tea cup'? Thanks!0 -
MOZ Crawler only crawling one page per campaign
We set up some new campaigns, and now for the last two weekly crawls, the crawler is only accessing one page per campaign. Any ideas why this is happening? PS - two weeks back we did "upgrade" the account. Could this have been an issue?

Campaign Not Crawling
I set up my first 5 campaigns and one is not crawling beyond one-page. It's been over 48 hours. This site has nearly 3.500 pages the others much less, however, this shouldn't make any difference. I searched for the problem and couldn't find it so I hope this question isn't redundant. Comments and advice would be appreciated.
