Hi Vjay,
Tripwire Magazine offers a recent article showcasing 40 different webpage templates which may help provide a frame of reference for strong landing pages. A clean, static design with a clear call-to-action and contact information in your top right corner will always help your user navigation. As well, ensure your landing page has a simple, descriptive URL visitors can easily use and remember. Featuring current, relevant text on the page explaining your services to potential customers will also help your user experience.

I dont think there are templates that solve a "homepage issue", you have to integrate your objetives into the whole design. I like the website design. I personally dont like such big images and scroll apps, i prefer a balance of good text and explanative images.
i personally love mailchimp.com or raventools.com, considering call to action theme. They engage with the right set of words, right images, right marketing at the right time.
Thank you!

I like mine :0 www.dfwnerdherd.com
It has a phone number in the upper left, I have images showing what we do, I have a chat/contact form in the lower right. The majority of human visitors that visit my site either call, email me or hit the chat button. It has worked great for me. You may try adding a contact button in a bright color. It can really help with conversions. I use zopim for the chat, but contactme also has a great contact form and tab that scrolls with the page.

Hi! We're going through some of the older unanswered questions and seeing if people still have questions or if they've gone ahead and implemented something and have any lessons to share with us. Can you give an update, or mark your question as answered?
Thanks!

i check that its not helping in conversions and there are way too many exits from that page. thanks Korgo.

Community Discussion: UX & SEO – Your experience?
We've been looking at the relationship between SEO & UX a bit more closely lately on the blog. Our good pal Cyrus started the wheels turning with a tweet: https://twitter.com/CyrusShepard/status/748296076411625473 ...and that morphed into a Whiteboard Friday idea, which was filmed and posted here: https://moz.com/blog/ux-vs-seo-whiteboard-friday We shared the story of one site that enjoyed rapid growth and that subsequently battled with managing that UX/SEO relationship on Thursday. And it's hard, right? UX and SEO teams often operate independently of one another, and may make decisions that affect one another's work. Sometimes it's a "hindsight is 20/20" situation. Sometimes the answer is so radical and impactful that you may want to settle for a "safe" alternative. I'd imagine many of you have encountered some big issues with user experience and search optimization in your day-to-day over the years. What's the most difficult situation you've encountered with this? How did you resolve it? (I'd bet money on there being some really creative solutions out there :). Is there a particularly challenging situation you're struggling with now that you'd want to share & crowdsource ideas for?

Are we designers at heart?
A thought has crossed me. I've started to think about my relationships (uh oh...where is this going..?) with my web developer and designer and it seems design has become the core part of every SEO strategy I employ. Every page layout, rich content on a page and behaviour my customer might do, I'm thinking about the design. Are we in a way, designers as well? We put on so many hats and is design one of them? I'm technical with my web developer but I'm also concerned with the delivery the customer sees. How is your relationship with your web designer and developer? Are they core individuals in your SEO life?

Optimizing a Wordpress Blog For SEO
Besides the standard Yoast for SEO plugin tweaks, I'm researching best practices when setting up a wordpress blog. In this instance, the "front end" of the site would be hardcoded static pages designed for an e-commerce site, while there would also be a /blog/ attached to the site - for blog posts, fresh content, etc.

Home page redirect - will this cause an SEO problem
Hello, We are using Wordpress to build a wiki site. The wiki plugin we're using (Wordpress Wiki lite) can only be set up on an internal page like nlpwiki(dot)org/wiki Can we redirect the home page to the /wiki subdirectory and use nlpwiki(dot)org/wiki as our home page? I've never done that, just wondering if it will be indexed as the home page or if there are any connonical issues. Thanks!

What do web designers consider to be SEO
I'm putting together an article about Web Designers and SEO. The basic crux is that most designers will at most (if you are lucky) add in title tags, maybe pretty URL's and HTML links and call it SEO friendly. (lot's who don't probably but also lot's who are even worse) Of course I want it to be a bit controversial so please feel free to let rip. My argument is clients who have previously had site's that have had "SEO on them", know think that all SEO is a waste of time as their previous experience didn't produce the traffic and sales they were expecting. I don't know many designers who independently consider a site marketing strategy and how a site is going to generate links in the long term. I'm sure most of us have read this post on SEO responsiblities but becasue the first port of call for most business owners are the web designers, our offering is undermined by their misunderstandings and in some cases mis-sellings. So under the working title, "Why Web Designers Are Bad For SEO", any care to share some imput.

Best Site navigation solution
Hi there, We are getting our website redesigned and would like to know whether to increase the links on our site wide navigation or not. At the moment we have around 30 links from the navigation. We want to use exploding navigation menu and increase the links to our most important categories. Say if we increase to 60-70 would that be alright. (what will be the highest we can go for) At the moment categories that get links from navigation are ranking pretty good. If we increase would we loose those rankings. What will be the pros and cons of increasing navigation links? Second question we are also adding fooer links to top 10 categories in the footer. Would this be ok as far as seo and google concerned. Many Thanks
