If only I could! That is a lot of stress - it's pretty much how many points the President gets when he helps avert national disasters. Let me know if it's still not working for you in Chrome or if I can help any further!

Hey James,
Sorry that you're having this problem! I know that there are some profile update issues with Internet Explorer - are you using IE? If so, try Chrome or Firefox. Also, can you let me know what you're trying to update and what exactly happens? Feel free to reply here or, even better, email me at help@seomoz.org so I can put this into our support logs.
Thanks James!

I am also using Chrome but Aaron confirmed there is something wrong with mine.
-
I have no difficulties, on Chrome with cookies enabled. What are you using?
-
Mine hasn't updated my comments, etc for weeks and I never realised - I raised a ticket for this to be looked at yesterday - hopefull Aaron is on the case
Regards,
Andy

Duplicate content problem
Hi there, I have a couple of related questions about the crawl report finding duplicate content: We have a number of pages that feature mostly media - just a picture or just a slideshow - with very little text. These pages are rarely viewed and they are identified as duplicate content even though the pages are indeed unique to the user. Does anyone have an opinion about whether or not we'd be better off to just remove them since we do not have the time to add enough text at this point to make them unique to the bots? The other question is we have a redirect for any 404 on our site that follows the pattern immigroup.com/news/* - the redirect merely sends the user back to immigroup.com/news. However, Moz's crawl seems to be reading this as duplicate content as well. I'm not sure why that is, but is there anything we can do about this? These pages do not exist, they just come from someone typing in the wrong url or from someone clicking on a bad link. But we want the traffic - after all the users are landing on a page that has a lot of content. Any help would be great! Thanks very much! George

Problem with Wordpress RSS feed and Feedburner
Just discovered a problem with my company site's RSS feed. I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, but I thought someone in the community might have encountered this -- and I cannot figure it out for the life of me! We had redirected our Wordpress feed to Feedburner. We publish at least once per week, but no posts after March 18 are in the feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheClineGroup The standard (Wordpress) RSS feed page does not load: http://theclinegroup.com/feed/ Of course, I deactivated all plug-ins to see if one of them was the issue, but the problem(s) still existed. Thanks so much for any assistance!

Are W3C Validators too strict? Do errors create SEO problems?
I ran a HTML markup validation tool (http://validator.w3.org) on a website. There were 140+ errors and 40+ warnings. IT says "W3C Validators are overly strict and would deny many modern constructs that browsers and search engines understand." What a browser can understand and display to visitors is one thing, but what search engines can read has everything to do with the code. I ask this: If the search engine crawler is reading thru the code and comes upon an error like this: …ext/javascript" src="javaScript/mainNavMenuTime-ios.js"> </script>');}

One common cause for this error is the use of XHTML syntax in HTML documents. Due to HTML's rules of implicitly closed elements, this error can create

ECommerce site - Duplicate pages problem.
We have an eCommerce site with multiple products being displayed on a number of pages. We use rel="next" and rel="prev" and have a display ALL which I understand Google should automatically be able to find. Should we also being using a Canonical tag as well to tell google to give authority to the first page or the All Pages. Or was the use of the next and prev rel tags that we currently do adequate. We currently display 20 products per page, we were thinking of increasing this to make fewer pages but they would be better as this which would make some later product pages redundant . If we add 301 redirects on the redundant pages, does anyone know of the sort of impact this might cause to traffic and seo ?. General thoughts if anyone has similar problems welcome

They told me that they are using Canonical Tags to all their pages and have no idea why SEOmoz keep identifining it as a "notice" They also tel me to check the source code of page to see the canonical tag. I did and their is actuall a canonical tag there. Cjeck please here www.costanavarinogolf.com So do you have any idea why this is happening ? could you help me explaiin to developers what they should do to overcome this ? Or it's just a bug of SEOmoz and not a reall problem exist ? Thank you very much for your time

Meta data in includes: not ideal or a problem?
I have pages with meta data being pulled in via an include. This was to prevent people from touching the pages themselves. Is this an optimization issue- or is it OK to do?
