Does Geo Targeted IP Delivery Present Any Risks?
-
Can you get away with providing totally different content to US visitors and UK visitors from the same url.
-
Yes. This is perfectly normal and common behaviour. In fact Matt Cutts confirms this in one of his videos on Webmaster Help channel on YouTube. Without knowing the exact technical details it's hard to know whether there is a risk for sure or not. The problem you have is the fact that Googlebot may not act as a geo user and you may end up with US or English language content only in index. Sitemaps or site structure will be a handy solution in that case.

Cloudflare - Should I be concerned about false positives and bad neighbourhood IP problems
I am considering using cloudflare for a couple of my sites.
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | lcourse
What is your experience? I researched a bit and there are 3 issues I am concerned about: google may consider site bad neighbourhood in case other sites on same DNS/IP are spammy.
Any way to prevent this? Anybody had a problem? ddos attack on site on same DNS could affect our sites stability. blocking false positives. Legitimate users may be forced to answer captchas etc. to be able to see the page. 1-2% of legit visitor were reported by other moz member to be identified as false positive.
Can I effectively prevent this by reducing cloudflare basic security level? Also did you experience that cloudflare really helped with uptime of site? In our case whenever our server was down for seconds also cloudflare showed error page and sometimes cloudflare showed error page that they could not connect even when our server response time was just slow but pages on other domains were still loading fine.0 -

Redirect a temporary IP
I was performing some development work on a client's site recently under a temporary location on the host's server, for example: http://11.22.33.444/~accountname/folder/page.html Google managed to index a couple of pages using this url 😞 I have updated DNS to the correct domain and the site is live, but I am a bit confused in regards to the correct way to create a 301 Redirect for this example or at least a way point it to our 404 page. I am hoping someone more proficient with htaccess can help me out a bit... Thanks!

How to Target Keyword Variations?
I have a list of keywords I'm trying to target and they are essentially different variations of each other: Example: blue yankees baseball hat yankees blue baseball hat yankees baseball hat in blue Should I be targeting all these on the same page, or should I be making a new page for each one? Thanks Mozzers!
