What can be blocking the link juice?

Hey all,
I recently found an issue on the website of one of my clients, so I want to hear what could be the reason for it.
We are working with that client since September last year and we had created around 300 links to it. However, I recently found out using Majestic SEO and Open Site Explorer that for every page there are like 3-4 links passing value...
I checked the whole report immediately, but the thing is that all links are in place and they have relevant URLs and anchortext as wel. I am thinking about an onsite issue, which can be blocking the links (I checked the robots.txt and the http header to see if they return any errors, but no luck).
Any suggestions.... Any help is greatly appreciated

You can't rely on SEOMoz and Majestic to give you Google data as these two use their own crawling. My warmest recommendation would be to gain access to GWT and learn about what Google knows about your links.

Well I do not have access, but I did manual check on all the URLs in Google to see if they are all indexed and they all appear to be...

Those links were added from various sources during the linkbuilding campaign we issued. To sum up, the majority of those links come from blogs and article directories (only the best ones). We do pretty the same for most of our clients, but we do not have such issues.

Have you got Google Webmaster Tools access to this site? If you do you would just export all the backlinks from there and truly find out if they are visible to google or not.

Well no actually the links come from various places - article directories, guest posts and other related websites.

Were all the links from the same source / or contact? Message me the address if you'd like a conclusive assessment - it's a bit hard with simply guessing.

Resource linking
Is a resource linking page a good way to build backlinks? Do I need to ask permission of the site I am linking? & If do build a resource page do I have to keep in mind keyword density rule, not to stuff too many links on page? I see one of my competitors using a "resource page" and linking to some high athority sites, (which I know they have not asked permission) b/c they are big name site, NFL, NHL, ESPN etc. Any suggestions much appreciated! Hello all ! I would love some opinions about one Link Building technical aspect from SEOs, link builders ... How important is the number of outgoing links on the page you have the opportunity to place a link ? (from a scale of 1-10 / what about where dose this factor fits overall with your check list , as important to consider as far as link building) Would you place a link on a page with 200+ outgoing external links if the page is ok (not involved in selling links, all links are related with the subject, target page, anchor text etc) or you would go with a link on a 10-15 links per page but not that 'powerful' and not that related (not spammy but more general on the subject that can contain links to some other non related resources). Eg: Option 1: www.whatever-name.com/links.html the entire domain is about x. It has 250 links in that page (in the links.html) all links on the links.html pages are somehow related / resources with x. Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x. Domain page rank : 6 (as a general indicator), Page PR, the links.html one, PR: 2 Option 2: www.some-other-name.com/x-is-so-great the entire domain is NOT about x, just the page. It has 5..10 links in that page (external links more or less related with x - but not spammy) Your link can be placed with an anchor text related with x that will target a page on your site related with x. Domain page rank : 3 (as a general indicator), Page PR, the links.html one, PR: 1 What's your best option ? Thanks !

Value of Inbound Links to Pages With a lot of Outbound Links
Suppose you have a resource page of the Top 50 Awesome Sites in your niche. Since there are about 50 outbound links, then I would think there will be less Page Rank being passed to internal pages from internal links on the resource page. Since you are getting less PR passed to internal pages, are there other ways the inbound links can be beneficial, such as increasing the diversity of links of your domain? Sites like SEO Optimise seem to create a lot of Top 30 Resources lists and I have read that they think it is a strong tactic.
