Links

The number of my total links (internal+external) is always equal to the number of Ext followed links. How come? and what could be the issue?
Thanks,
Eddie

Thanks Daniel. GWT tells total different number from Open Explorer. I have checked the site config and I tend to stick with GWT. Thanks a lot

What tool are you using to determine the number of your links? Open Site Explorer may tell you one thing and Google Webmaster Tools may tell you another. I would stick with what GWT displays, are those numbers doing the same thing?

Inbound links not showing in reports
My clients site so far only has a few inbound links. If I do a report on MOZ/Open Site Explorer it only lists 10 domains linking in and, a number of important ones are not on that list. As an example, one of the leading UK national newspapers (Daily Telegraph) has a link on this page to the client www.vidavida.co.uk and yet this link/domain does not appear in the above reports. Is this an intentional nofollow type thing that the telegraph does and is there a way for me to check that on their site/page? http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/news-features/TMG8655068/Holiday-travel-in-style.html Any comments most appreciated. No internal links showing up in OpenSiteExplorer report
Hi there A simple one. I was just looking at our site in opensiteexplorer and notice that it says we have no internal links at all: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s244/sh/dd8cc88f-fee4-4ba2-8ec0-f3f8d5c408db/8d3fc3d2aa6fc9d5406051bc91731402 Rather odd as we do. Is this a bug with OSE that anyone knows about or something else? Any ideas / thoughts gratefully received.

No link data for my domains + still no adwords data
All 3 sites In my campaign have no link data analysis done. 5 to 6 months after you said you were working on it Adwords data is still not available in Keyword analysis Partial service is understandable for a few days but not for months. Beyond the nice screens, what data & services do you exactly provide and what are we paying for?

Inbound Link Discrepancy: Campaign vs Open Site Explorer
Hello, I am getting starkly different inbound link amounts from Open Site Explorer and my Campaigns tab. Domain 1
Moz Pro | | truckguy77
Campaigns: Total links = 10,895,942 Open Site Explorer - Links = 224,000 Domain 2
Campaigns: Total links = 25,670,287
Open Site Explorer - Links = 157,000 Why would these be so different? For reference, the "Historical Domain Analysis" shows these sites getting exponentially more links starting in February. This is of concern to me. I didn't do anything different in February to get so many more links (especially not in the millions). If anything, I am hoping the "Campaigns" section is simply wrong about this.0 -
Why is the linking root domains count not increasing
For the last month I have been tracking my backlinks thru open site explorer. Over the same period I have gone on a minor link building exercise via social media, some directories as well as writing fresh new content for the site. However, my backlink count has increased in the Rank Tracker tool but my root linking domains have remain at the same level. Is there a lag or is this because some of these site are not in the open site index? To be specific - I have personally setup follow links from sites like tumblr, posterous, stumbleUpon, delicious and other like these. Would really like to understand the limitations so I can take the appropriate action. Thanks

How Do I Interpret Data From "Competitive Link Finder" Search Results?
Ok, I'm a beginner here. A few basic questions: I ran a "competitive link finder" search. 1. What does "Subdomain mR" mean? 2. What does Subdomain mT mean? 3. What do the scores in each column mean? Example 8.7 under Subdomain mR. 4. How do I interpret this? thanks for your help! Dan Castro

Where in SEOMoz pro can I determine how many .edu and .gov links a competitor's site has?
Like in the SEOBook toolbar where you can click the information button and get the number of links to the domain and specific page for .edu and .gov sites. Thanks, Daniel.

In OpenSiteExplorer - how do I find out which in bound links were lost?
http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/www.homefinder.com/a!links The # of inbound root domains is ~3,100 and has remained relatively flat for a while yet we've been acquiring 1000's of new root domains that link to us. That said, we want to get some clarity on why the count has remained flat. It would be helpful if we could see which domains have stopped linking to us from one OSE index to the next. Is it really the case that we're losing links as fast as we're gaining them or is something else going on?
