Analytics for Facebook

I'd like to use an analytics program to track Facebook like conversion. I've tried just putting the code on the page that I'm framing in. I'm getting some activity, but it definitely isn't tracking correctly. Anybody had any luck installing Google analytics or another tracking program on an FB fan page?
I asked this question last week and didn't get an answer, so It'd be nice if one of the SEOmoz guys could chime in.

Hhhhmmm with the lack of cheap easy fixes to the vastly in accurate self serve facebook tracking interface, maybe there's an opportunity to build a simple Google Analytics patch through the Facebook api.

Webtrends has a pretty awesome tracking tool for Facebook. It'll run you a pretty penny but it's pretty incredible.

Facebook conversions - issue in calculation
Hi, I have a few campaigns for conversions on Facebook, but any of them don't show to me real numbers. There are 4 times more conversions on Facebook than in GA. I did a little research. The problem is that - Facebook pixel calculates all possible conversions from all sources, and because my campaign results are wrong e.g.: Facebook campaign results: Conversions: 10 | Cost per conversion: 1 GA for that campaign (real numbers): Conversions 1 | Cost per conversion: 1 GA from all campaigns and sources: 10 It's that correct? Facebook Pixel Installation
We are looking to setup conversion tracking for an Ad on Facebook. Upon selecting the Ad objective as a conversion, the pixel code is eventually provided. However, we are unsure, do we put this pixel code in: In the head tags of the header.php of our Wordpress website In the head tags of the page where a conversion is recored (i.e. the Thank You page of our website)? If it is the second option, is there a Wordpress plugin that will enable this to be easily done? Thank you for helping us clarify this!

Show Unique User Goal Completions in Analytics Instead of Totals
Hello Everyone, Currently within Google Analytics, I have a mostly unfiltered view and several goals setup. One of my goals is tracking the download of an eBook (setup to track visits to the 'success' page of the download). At the moment (as I understand it), that tracks "TOTAL" goal completions. So, if the same user/person downloads the eBook twice, I will see 2 goal completions. What I'm trying to figure out is how to generate a report or view or something that tells me how many "unique" users have downloaded the eBook. Is this possible to do? And, can I do it using past data or do I have to setup a new filter that would only track unique users going forward? Thanks in advance.

How can I track if a landing page assists a lead/goal to another page in Google Analytics?
For example, I'm running a PPC campaign for site.com/landing-page and it consists of different product pages like below: site.com/product-1 site.com/product-2 site.com/product-3 How to determine if /landing-page assists a lead/goal to a specific product page in Analytics? Goal Tracking in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I just want to ask if you have videos or blogs about setting up goal tracking using conversion page or a "thank you page" in Google Analytics. This will help me to get how many inquiries (from contact form) I am getting and for me to know where they came from using Google Analytics (countries, source/site they used, time on site, category page and landing page, etc.). #2 question - In case I don't have a "thank you" page, is it possible for me to get these "goals"? Non-branded search before branded search in Google Analytics
A lot of organic search phrases contain branded terms. Does Google Analytics provide a possibility to track wheteher the first interactor with the website is due to a non-branded search term? Example: On monday someone search for 'online shoes' and on thursday this visitor search for 'shoestore.com'. Ist it possible in the Thursday report in Google Analytics to see that this visitor has first arrived on the site with the search term 'online shoes'? The same question can be asked for direct/none traffic. is it possible to see whether these visits ca be attributed to an organic search term?
