Hi,

I'd like to build links to my websites from other relevant sites that are about similar topics. To do that in the best way, I am looking for a tool that generates keywords for a specific site or a page. This tool should basically analyze the website and understand what topics is it about. Then I can compare my website and the website I am looking to do link building in and see if the relevance is high.

I remember SEOMOZ had a similar tool. Does anyone knows the link to that tool or other tools that can help me do the task I am looking to do?

Google Adwords Keyword tool can generate related keywords for a specific website.

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Just insert the URL in the second text box titled "Website" and you'll get a list with keywords relevant to that website.

A single metric to evaluate link quality?

We're using Moz and Ahrefs to monitor backlinks that we're getting to Siftery. Given that there are so many factors that affect the potential quality of a backlink - domain authority, page authority, context, anchor text, etc. - is there a single metric that attempts to quantify the value of a link? I realize that this would be an inexact science, but it would be a helpful view to get a quick directional sense of what are our most valuable backlinks (and be able to tie it to the campaigns that led to them, for example). If there's no "single metric" out there, are there heuristics that people have withstood the test of time? Thanks for your help!

ERROR: Too Many on-page links!

User wise, my product menu @LEDSupply.com is user friendly, but I'm concerned that it might be seen by crawlers as bad because of the TOO MANY ON-PAGE LINKS error I am getting in my moz crawl report. Is it really counting all the links in every drop-down menu? If so, is there are resource on how to fix it????

Moz & Xenu Link Sleuth unable to crawl a website (403 error)

It could be that I am missing something really obvious however we are getting the following error when we try to use the Moz tool on a client website. Can open site explorer miss incoming links?

In open site explorer I only see one linking domain, eventhough I know of at least 1 other. Why is that?

No Local Directory links in Open Site Explorer?

Hi there, I just signed up for seomoz pro today and have been playing around in OSE looking at a number of local business websites that I manage SEO for. For all of them, I have put an endless amount of effort ensuring they have good quality, accurate business listings in all the local directories like yelp, yellowpages, hotfrog, tripadvisor, etc. For most of them, I did this months or even up to a year ago. However, I don't see a single link reported in OSE that is a result of my efforts here. Does OSE not report links from local business directories, or should I be concerned that I'm somehow not optimizing properly, or are these types of links of such little value that they don't get picked up, something else? Is the "Too Many Links" metric a blunt instrument?

The SEO Moz crawl diagnostics suggest that we have too many on-page links on several pages including on our homepage. How does your system determine when a page has too many links. It looks like when a page as more than 100 links it’s too many. Should the system take into account the page authority, domain authority, depth of page or other metrics? In addition, no-follow links are being included. As these are dropped from Google’s link graph, does it matter if we have too many? For example, we could have 200 links, 120 of which are no follow. Your tools would tell us we have too many links. Feedback appreciated. Donal
