Hi,

I'd like to build links to my websites from other relevant sites that are about similar topics. To do that in the best way, I am looking for a tool that generates keywords for a specific site or a page. This tool should basically analyze the website and understand what topics is it about. Then I can compare my website and the website I am looking to do link building in and see if the relevance is high.

I remember SEOMOZ had a similar tool. Does anyone knows the link to that tool or other tools that can help me do the task I am looking to do?

Google Adwords Keyword tool can generate related keywords for a specific website.

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Just insert the URL in the second text box titled "Website" and you'll get a list with keywords relevant to that website.

How do Infographics provide links? (example inside)

Hi, I don't get it...
I've encountered the following infographic that seemed to do well: http://www.brilliance.com/4cs-of-diamonds-infograph As you can see, the page has thousands of social shares from Tweets to Facebook and obviously Pinterest. However, when I placed this page on Open Site Explorer (click to view) I see only 9 external links and page authority of 28/100. And this seems to me like a successful infographic. Any explanations? Thanks

Finding affiliate links with opensiteexplorer

Hey guys, I'm trying to develop lists of our competitors affiliates using opensiteexplorer using the following method When logged in to seomoz, go to http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ Search for<rival company="" domain=""></rival> Select Show ALL links from ALL pages to PAGES ON THIS ROOT DOMAIN and SHOW LINKS UNGROUPED Click 'Filter' Click_ 'Download csv'_ Open the csv in excel and filter the Target URL column for any known part of the affiliate link (example ?a_aid) - this leaves you with a list of the affiliate links Filter out duplicates Is this the best process? I have a feeling I'm missing some as OSE truncates to 25 links per domain. It would be nice also if OSE could do the filtering for me. Any better ways to do this?

Hi Seomoz - first of all, thanks for the best SEO tools I have ever worked with (this is my first question in this forum, and also I just subscribed as a paying customer after the 30 days trial you guys offer). My question: After having worked for several weeks on getting the numbers of links in our forum on www.texaspoker.dk down, we are somewhat surprised to see that we didn't succeed in getting lower numbers. For instance, this page: http://www.texaspoker.dk/forum/aktuelle-konkurrencer/coaching-projekt-bliver-du-den-udvalgte has (that's what Seomoz seo tool tells us): 239 on page links. Can this really be true? We can't find these links, and we actuually did a lot to lower the numbers of links, for instance the forum members picture was a link before, and also there was a "go to top" link in each post in the forum. Thanks a lot.

How come there are no links to my website according to SEOmoz Competive domain analysis, while in google webmaster i do see links.?

I dont see any links to at all when i do a Competitive Domain Analysis in SEOmoz. However i do see links in google webmaster tools. this strikes me as odd. Also when i use open site exployer my website dont seem te be found. In google im on page 9 on my focus keyword so i do think there are links to my site. No follow Internal Links

Hello, I am comparing my site with my competitors. According to Open Site Explorer, my site has 541 internal follow links, and a total of 1,286 total internal links, implying I have 745 no follow internal links. I tried to drill into these internal no follow links using the "Inbound Links" report in OSE. But I'm receiving an error stating that No Data is Available for this URL. Does anyone have any insight to this? I'd really like to understand where those no follow links are coming from. Thanks in advance. eh70

Non-Recognition of Links

Hi All, I asked about a client last month and have had to do some other digging to try to find out what's going on with its Google rankings. According to our link-building spreadsheet, we have got up to 50 links (from 50 domains) in process of being actioned and a large proportion of these are actually in existence. There are two questions:- 1. Open Site Explorer only recognises 3 domains - as I know that other domains exist and are pointing (mostly 'followed'), what can be the reason OSE doesn't recognise this? 2. What can be done to encourage these external links to be more easily accessible by OSE and, presumably other bots? Other Points:- 1. I initially thought it might be crawl blocking issue causing the rankings, but Bing/Yahoo rankings are slowly dragging themselves upwards. 2. Robots.txt is not blocking any of the site 3. Pro on-site analysis for the target keyword is 'A' 4. The website's stats per OSE are better than some competitors in the top 20 except on the root domain issue, which is why the above point is important. Link building for other clients has worked really well without hiccups and with general gradual recognition, so any tips from more experienced folks out there would be gratefully appreciated. SEOmoz vs Google Webmaster Tools on incoming links

I'm working on basic SEO for http://queueassoc.com. Google has indexed the non-www verions of the pages and these are what the SERPS return SEOmoz toolbar shows that all of the incoming links juice goes to the www. versions of the pages, none to the non-www version. Yesterday I set up GWMT for the site, submitted a sitemap with the www version of the pages and set the default address to the www version. I had to verify both versions of the site in order to do this and in looking at the non-www version I saw that Google had all the incoming links there and none in the www.version, the opposite of what SEOmoz shows. Is this just because Google only has the non-www versions in its index? Will they show the links to the www version once they get them in the index? I'm worried about losing Google Page Rank value or SEOmoz DA by making this switch.

Why aren't DMOZ links showing up in Open Site Explorer?

I have a page that is listed in DMOZ.org, but when I run an OSE Link Analysis, that link doesn't show up. I'm currently doing the free trial for SEOMoz Pro and I'm concerned that other links might not be showing up as well. Has anyone had any similar experiences and/or do you know why DMOZ links specifically might not appear in the results?
