Is it safe to do a lot of links to a new post on an old domain?

Hi, I was wondering as far as being aggressive in link building can you add a lot of links to a new post on an aged domain? How many would you say is too much for the new pages if the over all domain has about 40k links? I am just wondering of a safe round about number monthly that can be done although I do realize this is site specific. I would trust your best guess.

Hello Jimmy,
I think there is no problem no matter how many links you build for a new page on an old domain.
If you're doing quality link building (which takes time) it does not matter what the number of links is. You are probably thinking that google might misinterpret it to be spamming or using black hat methods... but I doubt it.

Google Link Disavow and sites with extremely heavy but poor link metrics
Need help/opinions from the SEO's out there. I am working with a site that in the past hired an SEO company out of India. Over the course of their time together, this company submitted the clients url to tens of thousands of link exchanges and directories. Around the time of Penguin, the owners told me their inquiries dried up. Literally that same week they had a new website launched (designed by a local competitor) that really butchered the site. They were convinced the reduction in traffic/inquiries was due to the new site but I am convinced otherwise (suspect Penguin). Not only does the site need to be re-structured but their link portfolio needs to be diversified. Now on the plus side, the company caters and sponsors a number of events that earns them organic, relevant links. These are overshadowed by the tons of poor, irrelevant ones though. I read a few posts recently on the Google Link Disavow tool and to proceed slowly due to the unknown nature surrounding it. I have a good idea of what links are problematic and which ones are well served. However, the number of problematic links in my estimation is quite high (thousands). I am very hesitant to dive into Google Disavow and submit such a large number of requests. What are your thoughts? How would you proceed?

What are the pros and cons of using a link builder? Can link building be outsourced?
Hi, I have great content on my website which I would like to build external links to from other websites. I am told this will increase my domain authority and ultimately help search engine ranking positions. I have very limited time in my hands and now thinking of outsourcing the link building component to a specialist. Is this a good way of doing it? Could you recommend professional link builders?

Many competitor's backlinks are in content anchor links. Ho do I get these same links?
Hi I managed to open up OSE. I'm finding that much of the competition's backlinks are in content anchor text links. Am I supposed to get backlinks from these same pages using the same anchor text but linking back to my page or is that allowed? If so, how do I get these in content blog post links? Thanks. Sunil.

Press release site for posting article and get links, what do you think?
If find sites like: http://eon.businesswire.com/portal/site/eon/ and http://www.free-press-release.com/ where you have to pay to post article, they have very good domain autority, what is your advice on those site? eon.businesswire.com/ is asking 225$ for a lifetime registration but they have a DA of 91, is this a good investement for building incoming links and increasing DA? Why does opensiteexplorer tell me I have 292 linking domains and google webmasteer tools says 528?
Does anyone have any idea why opensiteexplorer has a specific number of linking domains while google webmaster tools say another? I understand opensiteexplorer needs to update itself, but I have seen this discrepancy for months! Any ideas?
