Ripoffreport.com De-Indexed?
-
I'm wondering if anyone else out there has noticed that ripoffreport.com has vanished in Google's index today (8-9-2011). Any input is appreciated.
-
And they're back. Shoot. What gives? Another loop hole?

Breaking news, I guess Ripoffreport removed themselves? http://searchengineland.com/ripoff-report-not-banned-but-removes-itself-from-googles-index-89000

Looks to be the case. Aaron Wall just posted about it: http://www.seobook.com/google-rips-rip-report-search-results

Interesting, I left a comment on Blumenthal's blog a few days ago asking if anyone has had to deal with spam/scam type reports from ROR. They are so annoying and frustrating. I've always wondered why they rank so darn high. I have a client who is really bothered by their existence and the 'fake' report on there. Doesn't look like all reputation or ripoff sites were slapped. Report Scam net still shows results.

also noticed that earlier today and was wondering the same thing. Will keep an eye on it for sure

Well, here's the million dollar question though. Is it truly removed from the index or some type of a temporary slap. I'm sure there are about 100 reputation management guys out their right now scratching their heads. I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on this. I have been dealing with ROR for a couple weeks now and just working it the normal way buy SEO'ing sites/pages to push ROR down.

I just did a site: search and it does indeed look like it has been removed from the index.

Creating Free Website Accounts (Weebly, Wix, Wordpress.com, etc) for Linking Purposes?
Greetings Mozzers, I came a cross several sites and when looking at their link profile I found they had several links from these free services to gain links. Obviously duplicate content is bad, but if all the content on each one was completely unique, would these links be of quality? Let's say, 1 link per site that is external to your site. I know it's a tricky topic but just wanted thoughts, would the above be a potentially beneficial method for gaining a simple quality link. Your advice and information is much appreciated!

Why does this site atlantapestcontrol.com rank so high?
I have been doing competitive research on the keyword phrase "atlanta pest control" this website atlantapestcontrol.com is #1. Why? The number 2 website makes some sense for its rank, but this one does not.

Why is razorservers.com the #1 result on Google for dedicated server hosting?
Why is razorservers.com the #1 result on Google for dedicated server hosting? The site also ranks well on Google for the keyword dedicated server. It outranks sites with a PageRank of 7 and 100k+ back-links. Thanks

Will changing my domain name from a .co.uk to a .com affect my SEO?
Hi all, The .com for my domain name has become available (I am currently a .co.uk) so I am looking to move over my website to this but first would like double check if this would have any affect on my SEO at all? As a company we mainly target the middle east (Although based in the UK) but at the time of registering years ago the .com was not available. Do I have a 'history' logged with the current .co.uk domain or is my website solely dominated by the content? Also, if I do transfer what would be the easiest way of doing this just changing the DNS to a different location (will there be a duplicate content issue on both domain names?). Thanks in advance!!

Would buying the domain 'howtoget-a-girlfriend.com' help organically
for the exact search 'how to get a girlfriend' in google? How-to-get-a-girlfriend.com and howtogetagirlfriend.com are taken, so I just wanted to see if this was close enough to help google.
