TARGETING MARKETS OUTSIDE THE US
-
i would like to target countries like India, UAE AND Brazil for MODERN LIGHTING for the home or business. What is the best way to go about this.
I also would like to target the LGBT group with this company another specific group to target and market the great product .

Hi!
What is your budget? Can you afford to have separate sites in the local languages, on local domains, or do you want to stick to English? That will inform how to proceed.
As for the LGBT community - I assume you mean the domestic community, not the LGBT communities in those countries? I'm sure some online LGBT websites/communities could be targets for mentioning your product, but I'd suggest you carefully analyse the potential ROI. I may be wrong but I am unsure the LGBT community are looking elsewhere to anyone else for lighting, and/or buying different lighting. Something I'd definitely look into before starting to invest time targeting them.
I think a few more details would help answer the question better.

Why does a word show as 'Google en-US Mobile Friendly' = FALSE when it also shows that it ranks 3 on mobile?
I pulled a recent report for all words I'm tracking locally and it states that a specific term ranks #4 on desktop and #3 on mobile. But in separate columns, specifically "Google en-US Mobile Friendly" that same terms shows as 'FALSE'. Any idea what this means? Thanks!

.com vs. .us for the same company in the US?
How does google react when there is a .com and a .us in the same geographic area as with the United States? Wouldn't google prefer the .com over the.us? Even with different content on the site, I would think google would choose one over the other. Would you have to use a 301 redirect or would just geotargeting do it? I'm not interested in using both just to use them, there is discussion between a US corporation and it's US region.

SEO Moz analysing US site when I want it to analyse UK site
Hi there, I am trying to analyse the UK version of my website. However as the website is set to redirect people to the most relevant site and SEO Moz is based in the US, it is redirecting all the pages your crawling and therefore analysing US pages. So I am trying to look at the UK homepage but all the factors relate to the US site... Is there a way around this?? Thanks

Would someone be willing to site audit us and give us some tips/advice?
Hi, Would someone or a whoever is willing to, help me get me head around what the OSE is telling me? I had a few quotes from firms who used this and they basically tried to sell me the world for £500 a month. So I have done my own SEO over the past 5 months and I think the figures are slowly going up, as are visits and sales (albeit slower than the visits). The site is www.designerboutique-online.com, if anyone is willing to take a look around, throw me some constructive criticism, some praise and some tips/hints etc... that would be great. Our budget is very small, hence the reason for doing it myself, so maybe if I could take some advice and put it into action, I could start making some big changes. Some competitors to compare us with are: www.odsdesignerclothing.com www.tessuti.co.uk www.uniquemenswear.co.uk www.endclothing.co.uk www.psyche.co.uk Thanks Will

UK and GB when selecting targeted engines in campaign management
HI Anyone know the difference between selecting UK or GB when choosing your engines to track keyword rankings? Is it that one of the options only includes pages from the UK while the other tracks all pages, but from a UK rankings point of view - ie pages hosted overseas will still rank. - if so, which is which? Or, and this is very unlikely, is it simply that the GB data does not include Northern Ireland as the UK is technically the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. NI is in UK but not in GB. Nice and confusing! Thanks

Drastic Difference between Ranking in Seomoz Keyword Ranking and non-personalized Google US Search
Hi everybody, for some of our keywords we saw a huge drop in ranking in the Seomoz Dashboard, yet when performing a non-personalized Google US search we still hold our old positions. Now, I am worried whether this is an upcoming Google penalty or just some bug in the latest crawl. Did anybody ever experience something similar and how could we find out if we were indeed penalized by Google (as we did some major linkbuilding campaign for these keywords recently)? Cheers and a major thanks for your suggestions, Tobias
