Infographic design software

In the interests of creating some quick, but nice link bait;
Does anyone know of any software or online info-graphic generation service? i.e. Something that is easier to create infographics in than gimp/photoshop.
Something that you can enter some data in to create some nicely laid out graphs would be amazing.

John, thanks - I'll check out Adobe Indesign.
Ideally I want something like the up coming infographic creation tool from Visual.ly?
It's not live yet http://visual.ly/labs but if there's a running alternative that would be great!?

Ivaylo - Thanks for the resource, they look pretty decent

Photoshop is the best with the most control...
but Adobe indesign; with its basic tool set would be a quick alternative..

Hi Shelly, it is not a secret that for really creative infographics you need the designer. However there are some low-cost infographics templates that you may find helpful. They are available over here: http://graphicriver.net/item/infographic-elements-template/113554?ref=CursiveQ&clickthrough_id=35566380&redirect_back=true&ref=CursiveQ

Animiated Infographics
Hi, everybody. I started to do animated infographic marketing. Some of the sites I used to submit the regular infographics do not do videos. Does anyone have a list of free and paid animated infographic submission sites?

Social Management Software
Hi all Just wondering, what service do you use to manage multiple social profiles ( in excess of 50). Curious as we have used http://commun.it for twitter accounts, but gets tedious as we need to log in on several different accounts, although great service Also use Hootsuite but reporting is terrible ... Really looking for some platform that offers lots of account management, building networks while offers decent reporting. And preferably some platform that expands beyond Twitter and FB only Thanks in advance John

Social Media Analytics Software?
Hi All, Do any of you have recommendations on basic social analytics software? We are looking for something that's not to expensive, that's easy to use, and measures the basic stuff, hashtag mentions, tweets, likes, etc. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Margarita

Infographic/Link Bait idea. Unrelated to my site though, suggestions?
Question, been thinking of some link bait infographic ideas for my site www.jobshadow.com I've got a couple in the careers/job niche but the one I think would be best is completely unrelated. I study free market economics a lot and want to debunk the whole 'deflation' debate that is on the news these days. The overall gist would be to do so with a history of Apple products showing why falling prices aren't anything to be afraid of. Given that it's econ/techie related(even non econ people would find this graphic neat I think) and not specific to the 'career hunting' and job searching my site is I'm curious what people suggest. Give it a shot and release on our blog anyway? Or trade it to someone else in a more relative niche(assuming the graphic gets built, I know ideas are relatively cheap:).

How can I gain links by creating infographics and/or memes?
It seems that both infographics and memes seem to be popular methods of creating good quality links at the moment, but how can you actually gain links by using these? When people share the graphics they will need to put an extra link in back to you and obviously most will be via social media so will not be worth that much to Google? Do I need to email these out to blogs etc?

Infographic Outreach
Hi Mozzers, I'm in the process of finalising a design for an infographic to be hosted on the blog section of our travel website. The topic of the infographic is Olympics based - 150 days to go! - so it should appeal to a fairly broad audience. Aside from targetting some of the official and non-official Olympic sites that might want to link to us or Retweet us I'm trying to think of some ideas that will give our infographic some legs. I do plan to target sites that have previously posted infographics on the same subject as they're more likely to host one again. Watching Tom Critchlow's Outreach for Linkbuilding is giving me some ideas but I still feel I'm missing something considerable that could really benefit. Any outreach ideas I've completely missed? Thanks!

Press Release for INFOGRAPHICS
So what would you guys say is the best way to market a infographic and get as much exposure to it as possible. The main goal is to get backlinks from blogs and somewhat of social buzz on twitter and facebook. So would anyone suggest doing a Press Release for infographic? And if so, does anyone have any suggestions on which press release site to go with?

Recommendations for infographic designers???
I was wondering if I can get a couple recommendations for good info graphic designers. The person I previously used is no longer available. Also, how do you guys go about outsourcing the actual information procurement that will go into the info graphic? I am doing everything in house but am now expanding to where I was wondering if it was possible to outsource the actual info gathering and process flow in addition to the creation/design of it. Any thoughts and info would be appreciated. Thank you
