Best approach to create a mobile version of a website

Hi all, I have a customer that wants to create a mobile version of his website, he wants to create a subdomain to redirect visitors to the mobile version and this mobile version will be a separate folder hosted on the same hosting.
I'm seeing really good things from frameworks like JqueryMobile but I thinks they are not really SEO friendly since they load pages with Ajax.
So, the question is: its ok to use this kind of frameworks or should I create all the html and css by myself?
I'm really looking forward to use the frameworks, since its faster and less time consuming than creating the whole site with html. But I don't want to waste time if it will not be SEO friendly.

We went the simplest route, while the Mobile browsing community is still gaining momentum.
However, that time is upon us.
I would check the Google Analytic and see who's and what devices are visiting your site right now, and decide how sophisticated this area of the site should be.

Best way for navigation, niche E-commerce
Hi community friends. Ive have started to work on our 2.0 e-commerce store mostly when it comes to design and the ux. Its a woocommerce setup and in total we have 34 products! We have e niche site where we sell products as a system towards the building industry. Each product served its purpose within a construction detail and needs some explanation for a first time user/customer. So, first thing we did now was to ad the short description to our loop to bring some more info to the user and guide them in the right direction quick. Now the products are divided in to four categories. We actually gain a lot of traffic from those category landing pages and i am not so eager to change the way the products are categorised. The old menu where built up by a sidebar with links to the different categories and to tags pages. Where the category where for example "Adhesive" and the Tag "Seal a window from the outside". The category gives the broader direction, and the tag gives the final usage/solution/purpose with the product. In the 2.0 we would like to remove the sidebar in the product pages in favor for a full widht product page with more focus on the product and the specs. This leads us to put our navigation up in the main menu part for the desktop version. Now to the questions. 1. Do you think that we are doing it the right way, to niche and set the final usage/path to our products with tags, or should it be done in another way? 2. For the UX, do you think that removing the sidebar navigation on the product pages will lead to a worse user/shopping experience? Best way to nofollow affiliate links?
I don't "nofollow" affiliate links but I have quite a few. Doing them one by one would just be an impossible job. Would it be best to get a plugin that nofollows EVERYTHING? What would google prefer? I need to DOFOLLOW some links because those sites deserve it.

URL best practices
Hi, I have a problem here, I used http://www.vietnamvisacorp.com/faqs.html instead of http://www.vietnamvisacorp.com/faqs. Hence, http://www.vietnamvisacorp.com/faqs will be caused 404 page. My question is should I change from faqs.html to faqs (no .html)? Thanks in advance any advice?

Content placment best for SEO?
We currently have a scroll bar box at the bottom of our page with information in but from what I can see scroll bar boxes at the bottom of websites looking a little spammy (a lot of over optimized websites using them) would we be best in using a strategy like this site www.solopress.com/ which implement a show more link that drops information down would this be read as good information for Google or look just as spammy?

Schema.org for news websites?
So as of late I have been on something of a mission to mark up my news website with as much accurate and detailed Schema and Open Graph data as possible, in order to not only allow the search engines to understand my content properly, but also to ensure everything appears in the most ideal fashion when linked to from Facebook, Google+, etc. Here is an example of a typical article page: http://www.nerdscoop.net/technology/video-games-459 As you'll see I currently have news posts marked up as article because that is essentially exactly what they are, but is there a better way to emphasise that they are news rather than just generic articles? My second question is regarding the category pages and the home page. How would be best to mark these up? With OG the task is fairly simple, because I can specify the homepage as being a website, but not so with Schema from what I can see. Either way, this is an interesting subject to me and I look forward to any discussion as a result. Thanks for looking.
