Hi All,
How do I get listed in DMOZ?
I have submitted 2 times, but no luck.. Is there another way besides the site? I have not even received a reply from them.

Submitting more than once also hurt your chances of getting a review. It would have just overwritten your previous submission with the new date and moved your site back down the queue!!!
After you have submitted ONCE, there is nothing more you can do, so move on.

Good point also!

good answer
but i would add, spend your efforts doing somthing else more productive.

Getting listed in DMOZ is difficult. You have to ensure that you have a high quality site with all errors atteneded to and the site fully functional before you submit.
Generally you only get one decent shot at getting listed.
The time for inclusion into the directory can be quite long.
First, check that your category has a moderator.
Second, try and chose a more specific or locally targeted category that has a different moderator to the category you submitted to.
Thirdly, you could become a moderator of an un-moderated category that is relevant to your field.
A fourth option is to try and contact the moderator (some times they can be located) and ask for a reconsideration. I would cite some new and useful information and your comittment to producing a quality site within your niche.
You need to ensure a top quality site and an ethical and honest approach towards the moderator of the category.

Hey Everyone, I've been searching for data on the percentage of people who click on paid vs organic. My last stats which are now outdated show 60% of the people click on organic on average and 40% click on paid. Any help/links would be greatly appreciated.

How did this little site rank #2?
Keyword: "adoption agency" Site: http://www.opendooradoption.org These guys are ranked #2 for this very competitive term in all US regions. They're beating Bethany (and my company) who are orders of magnitude larger in both company size and link profile. Their domain authority is 40, and they have less than 200 links pointing to them with "adoption agency" in the anchor according to OSE. Their on-site is pretty much nonexistent. Does anyone have any theories as to how they accomplished this?

How to estimate what traffic you should be getting?
Hey guys i have a question in regards to targetting seo results. A lot of my customers will me SME and most have visitors of under 50 per day. My question is how do you judge the amount of traffic a website of a small local business should be getting? For instance i have a site that gets average 22 visits per day, i would love to know how much their competitors get per day so i can know what targets to strive for. I feel that is 22 is ten times more than the compeitors website then the amount of seo time needed is less than if it is 10 times behind what competitors get. Thoughts?

How to do this type of listing on Google organic search results?
The typical listing looks like this (as im sure you know): However, one of my competitors has a listing that looks like the following: (http://i.imgur.com/Io1oX.png - link to image if its too small for you to see) How do they do this? Am i right in thinking this is a lot better for SEO because effectively it takes up 3-4 positions on search results? YIHQA.png Io1oX.png Io1oX.png

Competitor Ranking High has 2 Domains, But Duplicate Website ?
I was using OSE and noticed all the backlinks to one of our competitors is there other domain name, which is the EXACT SAME website. You can enter both url's and they display the same content. They are not useing any canonical tags either. Why are they not penalized for duplicate content? And for using there own website for backlinks ? We try to do everything right, but still cannot beat them. Any thoughts on this?
