Can an https: impact (not provided) keywords in Google Analytics? Meaning if I make my site https: will it provide any more keywords. If not how can I get this data?
-
I have a site that I'd love to have more keyword data on. Can making my site an https: site give me more keyword data than leaving my site an http: site?
Thanks!
-
Past data, other search engines and webmaster tools are all places to start. The following link describes some valuable strategies for doing keyword research after this latest evolution of GA:

Then how do you get keyword data? Adwords?
-
Hi
Unfortunately not. It will make no difference. Google no longer provide keyword referral data through their Analytics package or to any other analytics tools. All you now see is "(not provided)". It is nothing to do with having an http or an https site.

Non ecommerce site with high DA, being outranked by lower DA sites with ecommerce - help?
I have a website that we look after, up until January this year the rankings were really strong - the site has a much higher domain authority than the competitors, much more links and much more relevant content (all measured with moz's tools). About 6 months ago the rankings started to dive for national search terms. Now one thing ive noticed is that nearly all of the other sites in the search sell products online where we have no such function - could this be correlated - has anyone else experienced this?

Effort for "moderate competition" keywords
I'm rather new to this, and while I'm getting some sense of everything I'm trying to figure out what kind of scope of work lays ahead of me. The keywords I'm looking to rank for are "moderate difficulty" -- somewhere between the 45%-55% "difficulty scale" on seomoz's keyword difficulty report. Assuming I have a number of "A-grade" (according to SEOmoz's reports) optimized pages for these keywords, how many links of a given quality level should I be looking at building up? I mean, of course, the more the better, but if I'm gunning for high DA/PA pages, am I looking at dozens here or hundreds of such links? I can imagine that any answer isn't going to come with much specificity, but if there was just an "idea" of the scale of backlinking involved here, that'd be great!

The competitive analysis data I get on my blog heartspm.wordpress.com is Wordpress domain data. That doesn't help me much. I know Wordpress has a lot of domain authority. Can I get comparitive information based solely on heartspm.wordpress.com?

Google Places - Client showed up before, now does not
This is a strange one, and I hope a few local experts are out there. My client basically has one major competitor in the market. The competitor is closer to downtown and he is out about 27 miles. A couple of months ago, if you searched on "biplane rides in atlanta" the places map in the SERPS would show two - my client and his competitor. Now, the initial local in-line serp just shows his competitor, zoomed in. If go to Google Maps and type in the same search, he is listed, but you first have to click show more results. Then, he's listed twice - one his airport address (which is the real one) and one his business registered address (his house). How would I go about straightening this out? My client is #1 in the natural SERPS, it's just this local thing drives us crazy. If anyone can figure this out, you may walk away with a biplane ride next time you're in Atlanta! Thanks, Charles
