Anyone have a good example of a CSS-based multi-level nav bar that is semantic (including link level subordination) and is ux positive?

Definitely possible with HTML5. But you're probably going to have to make one from scratch. Then you can share with the world

Thanks I Googled navigation, not menu. So those didn't show up. Although I could argue that without jquery to control the hover/click etc... -- those have poor ux.
But the second part of my question: How do you create one with some kind of semantic hierarchy. I'm thinking with html 5 it's probably possible to do so.
hmmm.....

Internal Linking Conundrum
Hello I have a web site with a menu structure with three levels Top Level (Single Item) > First Level (Single Item) > Second Level (Multiple Items) The first level pages do not rank well. The top level and second level pages rank well. Search Console acknowledges 600 internal links to the top level. 600 to the second level. But only 100 to the first level. This is true across 6 top level items. It is not to do with page level links. It just isn't acknowledging all the links to the first level. Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

May I know what's the "CSS Class" here?
ul.nav a#homelink { text-indent: -9999px; background: url('http://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/MyProduct/wp-content/themes/MyProduct/images/home-icon.png') no-repeat center 6px; padding: 0px; } ul.nav a#homelink span { display: block; padding: 5px 9px 8px 5px; width: 16px; } I'm having problems in adding back the "house" icon instead of a "Home" text in my menu. I don't what "CSS class" should I use to be added in the Home menu button (Appearance>Menu). I'm currently using a "MyProducts" Wordpress theme by ElegantThemes. Thanks in advance!

Is it a good idea to use sub-domains?
Hello everyone! I have a question about whether we should be using sub-domains. We are currently in the process of redesigning our site so this would be the time to do it. We are a reseller of brand name IT equipment (servers, storage, etc...) should we create a sub-domain for each brand for example: hp.domain.com dell.domain.com or should we just use folders instead like: domain.com/hp domain.com/dell does one have any more SEO value than the other? Thank you!
