i want to ask a question. i am sure this is kind black hat seo.
look at this web site http://www.199999dollars.com/
if we also create website like this and put a banner as domain for sale and in the footer put back links to our domain ?
thanks

Of course the OSE domain authority isn't going to be truly representative for a domain like this. I don't think search engines would treat it so generously (it's only got a toolbar pagerank of 1)
-
Exactly, I agree with you, is a shame that this goes on, probably always will !
Those figures from OSE will be correct at face value, however won't take into account any search engine penalty that could be applied and indeed, should & likely will be applied at some point. Unethical spammy practices such as this can have high scores such as you've identified here, doesn't mean what has gone on is sustainable though.
Which leads on to your question; Yes, what they've done (based on your findings) is the creation of a link farm, with many of their own domains with poor quality websites/landing pages all linking to one another. It's a great example of what not to do for anybody with any ethical search ethics.
So don't worry about it, just concentrate on creating your own valuable site that adds some value to your visitors' experience.

actually these kind of domains dont have any value and no one want them too..

even i feel the same.
that is so sad that these companies are doing this kind of things to gain popularity.. they are buying more and more domains and just linking to their own root domain.
but when i see opensiteexplorer for this site www.acuista.com/... these are the results
| Page Authority | Domain Authority | Linking Root Domains | Total Links | Facebook Shares | Facebook Likes | Tweets | Google +1 |
| 64/100 | 57/100 | 773 | 35,637 | 68 | 11 | 22 6 | |most of their links coming from this domain http://www.comprarportatiles.com/ which is their own website and when ever the user adds a product to the cart and proceed to check out it will be redirected and add the same product to the cart of acuista.com
the second method above mentioned also treated as spam ?
thanks

Keep in mind how people stumbling upon sites like this may perceive you site/brand.
For people trying to find a domain for their business these kind of operations are rather annoying and can feel like exploitation!

Hi Ravi
As you mention SEO in your question, I am relating my answer to SEO.
Your suspicions are justified, as in there being no SEO value in doing anything like this. It adds absolutely no value to any User's Experience, no SEO value, I personally and professionally regard it as a pointless unethical practice.
If somebody has a domain for sale, then fair enough in putting a sales banner on the homepage, however doing so with the hope of gaining any SEO benefit and including all those links to other spammy domains is a game that can only be lost.
So I'd recommend to Not follow suit and to help keep the Web a better place by avoiding doing the same if SEO benefits are the main goal.
Regards,
Simon

Is there a way to use your other web properties for successful link building
We have two websites that align with it each other: Site #1 - Industry editorial website that provide high quality, original and current content. This site is mature and has high authority relatively speaking. Site #2 - Industry resource website that educates general public and insiders about the industry. Content is professionally written with fantastic art and basically breaks down different manufacturing processes/materials and walks people through the benefits. Would it be a sound approach to add anchor text/link within articles on site #1 to site #2? Below are a few scenarios: Article on site #1 is talking about using [manufacturing process] to make something and site #2has a page that describes [manufacturing process] in great detail. Article on site #1 is talking about using [material] and site #2 has a page that describes **[material]**in great detail. Article on site #1 is talking why its beneficial to use a particular [material] or [manufacturing process] and site #2 has a page that describes all benefits of [material] or [manufacturing process] in great detail. Obviously, this will only be sprinkled in here and there and not in every article. It should provide users with more insight but will SE's see it that way?

Should I embark on this long term link building campaign?
I've been planning to set out on a massive link building campaign for the term 'how to start a business' and I can't decide if it's a good idea or not. (Metrics attached - my site is the last listed and the ones above it are the top ranking for that term) The sites ranking for that terms are on very authoritative domains, but the page link profiles on each of them are poor. This is one of those moments where you think, 'Am I about to waste a tremendous amount of time?' My guide is extremely thorough and I had hoped with a MASSIVE amount of elbow grease outranking pages that had poor content value + only has 4 referring root domains. The problem is, I'm not sure if the powerful overall domain authority would still outrank my newer site. Should I follow through with that general guide or focus on less hard to rank and less searched content? Argh confusion GB3jcsJ.png?1

Link building when your domain name is your head term.
Hello, I am working with a company that their domain name is the same as the head term. For example, if I was going for the head term coffee, and my site was coffee.com. This is specifically in the medical space, and i'm competing directly with Web MD and The Mayo Clinic, my advantage on the term is the EMD. We have a legitimate site with thousands of pages of relevant content, and I am starting a guest blogging campaign on relevant health sites. My real challenge is when I go for anchor text links should I ideally go for [head term] or [headterm.com] as the anchor text. Thanks in advance for your insights Zach

A few questions about link building?
1. Is it worth gaining more then 1 link on a website when link building, for example if I did a guest post on a blog, is it worth doing another guest post on the same blog linking to the same website? So 2 guest posts on 2 blogs, or 4 guest posts on 4 blogs? 2. When building links through guest blogging, you have two options, a link in the byline and a link in the content. Will a link in the content have more benefit then in the byline as its surrounded by relevant content? 3. Does having a link higher up the page have more benefit then one lower down?

Primary link building for new clients, where do you go first?
When starting out with a new client, where do you look first to build links for that client? I have a lot of close friends who have small businesses with not a very huge budget for SEO and I'm trying to wrap my head around how to do a significant amount of quality link building without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? My list so far is: Friends / Family of the client.

Content creation / Article publishing
Paid directories (BBB, etc) What i am wondering though is if anyone out there has some suggestions as to how to do some quality link building for a small client with a limited budget (lets say, $500).0 -
Link Building: Asking for links versus building links
I am currently delving into link building for SEO having started out from a social media marketing side. From that angle, it was always my belief building high quality links came from engaging targeted bloggers and sites in my market and related verticals for product reviews and/or providing expert advise and opinion for posts they are creating. As I am learning more the "technical" side of SEO, I've read a lot of posters on here talk about asking from links from websites. While I get the concept from a strategic stand point, are links really asking for or is better to continue to pursue the long term investment of pitching to get coverage from well known bloggers and sites?
