Suggestions on good framework/code for building an optimized website?

There seem to be quite a few template, framework, and theme options for building a site optimized for search.
I'm currently looking at Socrates and Genesis premium themes for Wordpress. Does anyone have experience or suggestions on these resources?

I have virtually no direct experience with Joomla and Drupal, but your feedback pretty much confirms my inclination to move in that direction to meet the goals of some upcoming projects.
All-in-One SEO seems to be popular on WP. Any thoughts on how it compare to SEO by Yoast?

We also shifted focus away from other CMS systems in Wordpress (unless the goal of the site and traffic is built around a Blog marketing strategy), and moved to using mainly Drupal 7 at this time, but I also am a big fan of Joomla.
If I were you, take some time to look into sites build on these platforms and explore the options. They offer incredible flexibility.

We are going away from Genesis Framework as there are just too many moving parts for development.
For basic sites that do not need a lot of complexity we like WP 70% and use studiopress, themeforest, etc. We use all in one and Platinum SEO as well.
I personally like Joomla for more complexity and really think it can be more intuitive at times. My developers use it about 20 to 25% of the time. The rest we use Drupal and rarely others.
For handling myriad sites, etc. I think this is a reasonable mix. If you think your site will grow, need other functions (change from A to Ecommerce etc.) I would go with Joomla.

Keyword rankings for new website good in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google?
Hello, This past September I launched a new redesigned website for a client. His old website was a static html site that was many years old and the new website was created using WordPress. With the new design we made sure to use all the proper techniques for SEO. (h1 tages, image names, quality links, page titles, etc.) Plus, all the content is new content written for this site. I've actually launched new sites many times and after a few months usually start seeing keyword ranking improvements from the major search engines. With this particular website I'm seeing improvements in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google. I've used Google Webmaster Tools and made sure my sitemap is being submitted, etc. It all seems good, but I can't understand why Yahoo and Bing are working but nothing from Google. My page grades are all A's and B's and Moz isn't showing any big issues. Maybe I need to give it more time? This client is a lawyer and has many websites out there so maybe he's being penalized somewhere I don't know? As I mentioned, I've been doing SEO for about 8 years and have never had this much trouble with Google. I was wondering if you can look at the site and see if there are any glaring issues I'm missing. Website: http://www.arizonamedicalmalpractice.info/ The keyword phrases were are looking at are "Phoenix Medical Malpractice Lawyer", "Phoenix Medical Malpractice Attorney:, "Arizona Medical Malpractice Lawyer & Attorney", etc. I appreciate anyone who takes the time and does a quick look over. When doing internal linking back to your home/index file what is the best coding course of action?
When doing internal linking back to your home/index page is it best to set the code as linked to "www.thedomain.com" or "www.thedomain.com/" or just "/" - I'm attempting some canonicalization and our programmer is concerned about linking to just the URL as he's saying it's going to be viewed as an external source. We have www redirects in place that come back to just www.thedomain.com and a redirect to send the www.thedomain.com/index.php back to just www.thedomain.com . Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

i added website www.nsale.in in add campaign, it shows only 1 page crawled. but its working fine for other sites, any idea why it failed ?

Domain Forwarding / Multiple Domain Names / or Rebuild Blogs on them
I am considering forwarding 3 very aged and valuable domain names to my main site. There were once over 100 blog posts on each blog and each one has a page authority of 45 and domain authority of 37. My question is should i put up three blogs on the domains and link them to my site or should i just forward the domains to my main site? Which will provide me with more value. I have the capability to have some one blog on them every day. However, i do not have access to any of the old blog posts. I guess i could scrape it of archive.org. Any advice would be appreciated. 301 redirect to new website
We are migrating to a new website that will be using entirely new URLs under the same domain as the old website. The old website is a custom PHP script and the new website uses Drupal. I know that I should use individual 301 redirects to the corresponding new pages. My question is just how to set up the hundreds of 301 redirects from the old website to the new one? Here is the process I've come up with. Please let me know if there is an easier and better way for this. Before actually changing to the new website: download an advanced report with all pages on this domain from OSE. Find corresponding pages on the new website Make the hundreds of 301 redirect lines in an .htaccess file with the following code: redirect 301 /oldurl.html http://domain.com/the-full-url Thanks in advance for your help!

Inter-link Optimization for Pages
Hi Guys, How much interlinking is okay for between pages? Can i start link my internal pages like Wikipedia does? 20,30 interlink per page? OR is it all depends on Page Authority? Can i go inter-link crazy on 1 year old legitimate site? Big Thanks?
