Is a $100 adwords credit appropriate here

Hello,
A long time ago we set up an Adwords campaign for our company on my sister's personal Adwords account.
My sister would like us to set up a new account under a business email for the new Adwords keyword research we want to do.
Is using a $100 coupon appropriate for our new account? I honestly don't want to use it if it's against Google's policy.
And is there anything else I need to keep in mind as far as fees or requirements in setting up a new account and/or using the coupon?

Technically you are allowed 1 AdWords account per Company/URL. Is the new account for the same website? If it is for a different URL as the other account, using a $100 credit is perfectly fine.
If it is for the same URL, is there a specific reason to you are setting up a new one? You can still use the $100 coupon on this site - Google will never know, but it would be against the TOS so I will leave that judgement call up to you.
Coupon guidelines from Google:
- Coupons are for new AdWords clients only (Accounts Created within 14 days).
- Coupons may only be used for accounts in US or Canada (Coupons redeemed outside of the US or Canada are not considered part of your coupon activity.)
- One coupon per client only, subject to terms and conditions
- Use marketing materials available on "Marketing tools" tab to get your clients motivated and provide guidance on AdWords campaign set up

This is definitely okay to do. Especially if your old account was poorly managed and didn't show good results, it's absolutely fine to set up a new account and use the coupon. Because your past account history can impact your quality score and other factors, if you have an outdated account it can actually hurt you. If you're turning over a new leaf or have a new agency/person administering your account, it's a good step.
It's good in Google's eyes as well - They are very happy to give you the first $100 for free if they think it'll make a lifetime customer out of you. $100 really isn't that much in AdWords budgets, and if it brings in a long-term customer then they'll quickly recoup the money.
I feel pretty safe about recommending this as well because the Google account rep that I spoke with when I first signed up for Google AdWords and their Engage platform recommended that I set up new accounts for any of my clients that I was working with, specifically to take advantage of $100 coupons that I could give my clients only with a new account and so that they would get a fresh start with me and not have any past mistakes count against then. If I was in your position, I would absolutely do it this way.

Adwords - Mobile Checkbox
Hi Everyone, I am looking to optimize my adwords campaigns and have been pondering how to handle the checkbox for "Mobile" on the standard Text Ads. (My ecommerce website is fully responsive.) Why are my Adwords Total Estimated Conversions Less than My Phone Call Conversions?
I'm having an issue with tracking some conversions in adwords. Google Adwords is saying I have 20 estimated total conversions in an account and 26 phone conversions. Adwords is saying that the phone conversions are included in the total, so I am confused as to how the part is having a higher total than the sum. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Hi Wheres the form for filling in/registering your brand with Google for trademark protection in adwords ? I can only find an infringement/complaint form, which given no one currently infringing i imagine will be pointless filling it in. Keyword quota exceeded! Need help with Adwords Strategy
Hello, I was playing around with my Adwords and received a nice message from Google saying "Keywood Quota exceed". Basically I have too many keywords. That made me wonder if I could organize my keywords better. I sell tractor parts online. The majority of traffic is from people putting the part number into Google i.e 0J51MP5ON . It therefore made sense to use the manufactures SKU as keywords. The problem is that we have 30,000 keywords and will be moving to 100,000 - which above the Google limit. Each keyword links to the appropriate page on the website i.e. 0J51MP5ON goes to the 0J51MP5ON page. To make things simpler I could cut down on keywords by redirecting all parts starting with 0J5 to a 0J5 landing page for parts being with 0J5. The would be from the same Tractor manufacturer. However, I am worried this will reduce conversation rates. It will make it easier to manage the keywords. Anyone got any better suggestions?
