On-page: Over optimized images?
-
Hello guys.
I have a small question about an on-page optimization for images.
What I have:
- good title tag / good url structure
- good content (NOT keyword shuffled, its real content, for real people)
- images / gallery uploaded to folder named same as article name. For example: Great tips for bloggers [article name], great-tips-for-bloggers [folder name].
So my question is: Will Google harm me for this "too good" paths to images, article related image filenames, with mask like [gtips-img01], and if all images have titles / alt tags?
Thank you guys.

No you should be fine, but the best way to optimise an image is to use schema.org
See example at bottom of page

is the maximum 50-60 characters + the 15 characters brand name Google adds to the end of the title or 50-60 including the addition? Many thanks!

2 Similar Pages
Hello, I have two very similar pages. The first page is an apartment rental page with a map, rental listings and some neighborhood data below. The neighborhood data includes useful info about the area with photos, text about the area, crime rates, avg. rental rates, etc. The second page is a neighbourhood guide that includes virtually the same data as the rental page, but in longer form ie. more photos, more text, etc. I want the rental page to rank, while ranking the neighborhood page is not important as it would be used more for link bait. But since the information on the two pages is the same, I don't want them to compete with each other. I'm thinking of putting a cannonical tag on the neighborhood page pointing back to the rental page. Is that the correct thing to do in this instance? Thanks for your help. J

Image optimization
howdy guys, I am tryign to help my dad out with his SEO for his existing LP. its been created for "conversions" however not really made for SEO. Anyways, he has all these images that have abs no title, alt, or desc tags on ANY images. some of the images are part of the header and some are images of people etc. there are about 30 images. and the site is all in html. Would it be a good idea to change EVERY image or just a few and target some branding keywords? thanks again guys, hope to hear back soon

E-Commerce product pages that have multiple skus with unique pages.
Hey Guys, With the recent farm/panda update from google i'm at a cross roads as to how I should optimize product pages for a project i'm working on for a client. My client sells tires and one particular tire brand can have up to 15 models and each model can have up to 30 sizes. IE: 'Michelin Pilot Sport Cup' comes in 15 different sizes. Each size will have it's unique product page and description bringing me to my question. Should I use the same description on every size? I do plan on writting unique content for each tire model however i'm not sure if I should do it for every size. After all the tire model description is the same for every size, each size doesn't carry any unique characteristics that I can describe. Thanks in advance!
