Domain Authority has a value of 1, why is this?
-
I am having trouble understanding why my Domain Authority has a value of 1. I have already made more than a hundred links to/from my website, though nothing seems to showing in this Link Analysis.
I have attached an image. Also if it helps here is the domain name - http://davincidrivers.com/
Thanks in advanced for any help.
Grazie, Maria

Ciao Eyepaq,
Thank you very much for your help. This is very useful for my next steps.
E bravo per il tuo Italiano.

Ciao Maria,
The first link is a no follow so it doesn't count.
bellow a copy paste from the source code
a href="http://www.davincidrivers.com" rel="nofollow">
More then that the url is very "dinamic" probably not even indexed so even if the won't have the no follow attribute it still won't be detected by google.
The same story with the second link:
href="http://www.davincidrivers.com" rel="nofollow">rome airport transfer
So that means with those links or without them is the same => no actual links for your domain.
If all links build are the same - it's not going to help as far as Domain authority.
This is the reason for not having any link love from those links.
Mi dispiace per la notizia
The first steps, easy steps you should do is create a few social accounts for your site: twitter, Facebook, g plus. Add links there. Those even if no followed are counted differently.
Get some links into a few good not spammy directories - pay attention not to go over board and become a spammer - you should read a few guides to stay safe.
Contact a few bloggers in the same industry and request for a link: be nice, don't beg, underline advantages for them to.
Just a few initial ideas - for a quick start.

Can you post a few links that you've build ?
Do you have Web master tool setup for this domain ? Do you see any links showing up there ?
There are no records of the links you've build so far .. with site: command, OSE or majestic...

Thank you for your reply. The website is 4 months old but we have just started adding the links about a week or so ago. Maybe I need to be a bit more patient. ;D

How new is the domain?
If its less than a month old, then you need to allow more time before the crawl will show any results in amy opinion.
5 months down the line for me and some of my linking domains are only just coming through.
Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge could offer some alternate views?

Backlink level of domain authority
Hi, we are trying to build on the number of good quality links. One idea we had is to provide testimonials for a number of suppliers websites. Which would include a link from our company name back to our site. Is there a certain level of domain authority we should only do this for? For example if a supplier only has a domain authority of 11 should we not get a back link? Many Thanks

3 Month Delay in Domain Rank?
Our domain rank was around 40, then we hired an SEO company and our Domain Rank went up to 80, now we see it back down to 40. When we asked our SEO company, they said this was due to a 3 month delay in Domain Rank numbers. Is this true?

Does Adding Affiliate ID's to Link Affects it's Value
Hello, I have a question about adding Affiliate ID's to links. I receive a DoFollow link to my website with an affiliate ID in order to track the leads and the traffic that comes from each affiliate link/website. does this link (with the affiliate ID) pass Juice from the affiliate website? (I use canonical link element on my website pages)? how does Google deals with links with affiliate IDs ? is adding Affiliate ID to links reduces it's value?

Building on Brand for a keyword heavy domain with bad backlink profile
The domain is keyword heavy think along the lines of "mountainbikes.com" and they are ranking ok for mountain bikes, however on inspection they have a LOT of poor quality back links and a lot of those links are anchor text phrases (and far too much of it!). A lot of people recommend building on brand in situations like this, however how would I go about doing this for a site without a branded domain name? In this case their is a company name but it's not the same as the domain name, would you simply build links using the company name "Uber Bikes" or use the domain www.mountainbikes.com. If the aim is just to build a more varied back link profile then I guess using both would be good? Thanks in advance! 🙂

Linking Root Domain does not show twitter
I wonder what it takes to capture twitter as a backlink. We have a twitter account @idyllicsoftware which never occurs in open site explorer. Also it never shows newer back links. Could you suggest how to use it better?

EBay listing links SEO value?
Hi guys, Our website has an eBay widget which lots of eBay users put on their listings. We are thinking of using that as a way to get links from eBay listings. However, since most eBay listings will disappear after 90 days, is this worth doing and also will Google count those links? Many thanks David
