Is it possible to over create/post content?
-
My company has signed up with a vendor to help write content. They are going to be supplying 50 articles per month so we'd basically be adding 2 or more articles per day. Is that too much or is that okay as long as it's quality content?
-
You should ask yourself 3 questions about the content you plan on publishing.
-
Is it a "resource" to someone, if optimized to specific keywords, does the content match the intent of the search query?
-
Is the content to similar to other content on your current domain?
-
Is the content shallow - how many words, did you enhance it with "extras" like pictures/media, how in depth does the content dive into the subject?
If you are finding that you're publishing more than you feel comfortable doing on a single site, I don't see the harm in offering some of those articles to other blogs or websites. Just make sure you ask the 3 questions above before trying to place your content on other people's websites because you want to make sure any relationships you build through this method are solid.

Hi Kimberly, if its quality content I don't see any problem in that.
Are u putting the content on your website or are u posting to article directories?

Internal blog with history and some SEO value versus new external blogs with specialized content?
We operate a blog inside a folder on our site and considering the launch of 4 highly focused blogs with specialized content which are now categories on the internal blog. Wondering if there is more value in using the external new blogs or just keep growing the internal blog content. Does fact that the internal blog is buried amongst millions of pages have any impact if we want the content indexed and value given to the links from the blog content to our main site pages.

Duplicate Content
Hi All, I am doing work for a rug company that acts as a third party. They have close to 4,000+ products. Each rug belongs to a collection. The collection has one main description that is the same throughout every rug in the collection. Ex. One Collection has 15 rugs, all with the same description. Should I take the time and change every single description? I think the answer is yes but I wanted another opinion. Thanks

Similar Content
I'm in the process of launching two new websites (redesign / rebrand) - one website represents the manufacturer while a second website represents the retail side of the manufacturer (same company essentially but two different brands). The sites have co-existed historically without worry of canibalizing the other's traffic, but I want to make sure in this redesign that we're all set. I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations on how to handle two sites with different branding but VERY similar content (product descriptions are essentially the same). I was thinking it could be smart to just no follow the content on the manufacturers site since we're just trying to drive traffic to the consumer-facing retail side mostly anyway but would love to hear from the experts! Thank you.

Panda and Thin Content
Hi Guys, I have a quick question. We have a website and in the wake of Panda, we are worried about our video news section. We produce about 10 videos news a month on a templated page and beneath it is a small extract of the words spoken in the video. The text below each video is about 180 words each. Currently the video news section makes up and 1/5 of the content on the site. I.e Out of 500 pages, we have about 100 video news articles. Should I be worried about being wacked by Panda for this? Can I tell Google this is a news section?
