Hello,

We have a Google Webmaster Tools account under

nlpca(dot)com

but our preferred URL is

www.nlpca(dot)com

Do I need to delete the account and start over with the correct domain version, or is there a setting I can set somewhere?

The code is in Joomla so I can't set a rel="canonical" in just the home page.

Currently we have all home page version redirected to www.nlpca(dot)com

add in another domain as www.nipca(dot)com. You will have to verify ownership just like you did for nipca(dot).com.

Once you are verified you can go back to nipca(dot)com and go Site Configuration > Settings and selected your preferred domain.

Your done.

URL open with double domain names when click on visit URL link in Google Analytics

I have configured Advance Filter to track the sub-domains traffic as follow : Filter
Type: Custom filter > Advanced Field A: Hostname Extract A: (.*) Field B: Request URI Extract B: (.*) Output To: Request URI Constructor: $A1$B1 After that, I am able to see sub-domains record and View Full Page URL In Reports. But when I check reports in All page (e.g. Behavior >> All Pages) or selecting Landing Page as a Primary Dimension. Further I click on Icon given next to displayed Full URL to visit to same domain page, in browser the page
opened but the double domain name comes so page not open successfully. For example : In landing page list following URL given : www.sitegeek.com/compareHosting/arvixe_vs_hostgator If I click on icon given next the displayed URL, in browser following URL will
open https://sitegeek.comwww.sitegeek.com/compareHosting/arvixe_vs_hostgator Is this First Domain with HTTPs, coming from Google Analytic 'View' where this is taken ? How Can I remove double domains? Thanks, Rajiv

Google Analytics Report throws up Google as a referrer

Good morning from Wet & Windy 12 degrees C wetherby UK... Using Google analytics I've noticed in the traffic sources refferer subsection some traffic is categorized as originating from Google. Whats puzzling me is.... AW Stats vs Google Analytics

Hey Moz Community, I am looking to get opinions on the best practice for analytics/traffic analysis. From experience I know that AW Stats reads high and Google Analytics reads low for traffic for reason in this article http://www.smartz.com/blog/2009/01/23/analytic-confusion-%E2%80%93-awstats-vs-google-analytics/ It drives me a little nuts how far off both are for some pages. I have one article that shows 100 views (GA) and AW stats shows 5 times that number of views. Any suggestions or systems you recommend? Thanks

Does using Google URL Builder override original source in Google Analytics?

During a free trial on Tatango, we send daily emails to customers to give them advice, resources, etc. We started using Google URL Builder http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=55578 to create individual links in each of these emails, but when the customer purchases a subscription now, the source in GA isn't Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. they are all showing up as the source we created using the URL builder for each email. Does Google URL builder override the original source in Google Analytic?

How do shortened links show up in Google Analytics?

Hey, How do shortened links show up in GA? So if I tweet about something and use bitly, does twitter get the referral? I am thinking not. I have never seen bitly show up as a referrer, but we gets lots of clicks from those links. Hmmmm. Anyone? E
