Parking Domains
-
I currently have a website domain.com.au, an American branch of the company who own domain.com are currently having their site built and want to forward there domain.com to domain.com.au while construction is taking place.
Are there any negative effects to parking the domain.com on my domain.com.au?
What is the best method to do this without causing any problems for my domain.com.au?

If I understand correctly, the American branch is building an entirely new website, and in the meantime they want to direct any traffic that comes through their domain to a landing page at com.au. Is that correct?
Will there will be any negative consequences to your .au site? In most cases, no, and this might even make perfect business sense if the parent company is the most appropriate place to direct people. If the American .com has a clean backlink profile, then directing any traffic to the .com.au site should be fine.
Unfortunately, without looking at the sites in question there are a lot of unknown variables and it would be almost impossible to account for them all in the space of this answer. In the end, I think you should be fine, but in the case that, you do experience any negative consequences, simply reverse the change and you should be okay

hmm, so i'm not sure what you mean by "parking". will the content of your domain be affected in any way? or is it only that they temporarily redirect their traffic to domain.com.au?
parked domains themselves are no good for Google: http://searchengineland.com/google-parked-domains-scraper-sites-targeted-amongsearch-changes-103302 (look for "Parked Domains Get Ticketed")

Thanks,
Should have clarified, the domain.com is a new domain that is currently not indexed in the search engines.
Also my concern is only with the domain.com.au

yes, this is definitely not a good thing to do. if they already own domain.com and have their site indexed they should definitely not move it to another domain. they can build their site on any domain or subdomain while still keeping the current site active on domain.com.
if this is not an option, you could - for a short time - 302 redirect (temporary) domain.com to domain.com.au. but i wouldn't do this for more than 1-2 weeks max.
but either way, you won't cause any problems for domain.com.au, only for domain.com

Similar Keywords on Addon Domain
Hi all, I'm looking at setting up a second website targeting some similar keywords to my existing blog. I host the site through bluehost and am considering hosting the other website as an addon Domain. Whilst the content on both websites will be different both will target the same keywords. Does anyone know if because I'm targeting the same keys words using an addon Domain this could impact my existings site google rankings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Domain not ranking in Google
https://www.buitenspeelgoed.nl/ is a domain acquired by our client. Previously this website was on http://www.buitenspeelgoed-keupink.nl. With the old domain they were ranking top 30 on 'buitenspeelgoed' in google.nl. Now with the new exact match domain they aren't ranking any more (for months). However, the website is indexed, as you can see on http://1l1.be/nz I don't know what to do anymore. Need some advise. What we allready have done the last months: made adjustments to the 301-redirects (this was originaly setup wrong by the webdesigner (de) optimized the homepage on 'buitenspeelgoed' (strange is the fact that the Moz robot can't access the site). Checked the robots.txt to see if the website was blocked for Google Checked the meta robots to see if the website was blocked for Google Disavowed some spammy (old) links which linked to the old domain Checked Search console > Fetch as Google if there isn't any Malware of some kind (and to see if Google can access the site) Checked Search consol to see if there manual spam actions (isn't the case) Checked for duplicate content by copy/paste some texts in Google and see if any other results are showing up (isn't the case for most of the texts) Please let me know what we can do.

Cross domain canonical issue
Hello fella SEOs! I have a very intriguing question concerning different TLDs across the same domain. For eg: www.mainwebsite.com, www.mainwebsite.eu, www.mainwebsite.au, www.mainwebsite.co.uk etc... Now, assuming that all these websites are similar in terms of content, will our lovely friend Google consider all these TLDs as only one and unique domain or will this cause a duplicate content problem? If yes, then how should I fix it? Thnx for your precious help guys!

Keyword domain usage
Hi I have a client who wants some advice on the following and I haven't come up with anything decent yet. So wanted to throw it out here. They own a domain like soccershoes.com which also houses their web site. They have now bought ussoccershoes.com because this US based search term is more popular than simply soccer shoes. How can they utilise this new domain effectively to drive traffic to their main web site? Thanks for any input.

Redirecting Parked Domain
I just recently switched hosting. We have 3 domains and 1 being the main domain. Right now they are set up as parked domains. Can I redirect the parked domains under my main websites .htaccess file ? I am just worried that good we will get hit for duplicate content, even though technically the content is only on our main domain. right now if I type in my parked domains in Google, they appear in search. The site is all hand coded and not using a CMS.

Subdomain mozTrust - does other parkd domains can affect that ?
Hi , I have my domain www.mydomain.com and it have dpmain authority 26 , domain mozRank around 3 , domain mozTrust 1.63 , page authority 31, Google PR 2.0 etc etc So I am not in very bottom of scores, but my SUBDOMAIN MOZTRUST is only 0.961 and I've checked other websites that I've made some time ago and they have it like 4.0. So it is quite bad. I am having some domain parked within my hosting package. they have different names like www.mydomain2.co.uk , www.mydomain3.com etc. I can acces those domains as wel by typing : mydomain2.mydomain.com mydomain3**.mydomain.com** and have some testing subdomains there as well (just if I need to test something like drupal , wordpress or testing shoping cart etc.) Can that fact affect my subdomain rank ? Because I am having those domains parked there or I've made some subdomains that are not in use and nobody is linking to them and they are visible in Google ?

Sub Domain SEO
I am thinking to Add Sub Domains to get better rankings for Local Searches. So I will develop City Specific Sites with Specific Language. For Example qatar.wisnetsol.com. IT will be in Arabic. If my Good standing and Ranking on Google for wisnetsol.com will help my subdomain to rank better? if we setup wisnetsol.com/qatar, how it can target Qatar in Google Webmaster tools? Will links for qatar.wisnetsol.com and wisnetsol.com are seprate? What do you think about this strategy? Is it good or bad?
