Should I create a LinkedIn page for my website? We teach english lessons by skype and I am not sure if it is worth it to create a company on LinkedIn and link to it from my site? Will that get me some good SEO points? Additionally I don't want to fork over 20$ to LinkedIn if I don't have to. Thank you dudes!

I created a company page for our business and it didn't cost anything. I'm not seeing anything about a cost on their company page overview at http://learn.linkedin.com/company-pages/, either.

Yes create a Linkedin page AND join groups associated with your services or products, not only does it providing marketing exposure and point-of-contact with perspective clients but also established your authority within your industry.
Use the groups to promote you blog post and pages that answer questions within the groups, use your page and company page to create direct links to your listings. The groups have a social presence and I've seen post and updates made show up in fresh results within Google.
Additionally formatting of the text and links appears to have an effect on the page linked, site reference with italics and quote key terms to show the link is a reference for the body of text you've posted.

Are links from BBB on non-accredited business pages helping SEO?
I've been doing a lot of research on BBB and the site's value. I know you have to pay for accreditation as well as a link, and most search engine optimizers says it's worth it. I added a company to BBB in October, but I did not pay for accreditation or a link, and yet a link still appears on the business' BBB page. Is this link still a followed link? Does Google view it as an important link? If a non-paid link on BBB is still good, I don't see too many more benefits to BBB accreditation than the trust factor and possibly gaining an A+ ranking.

Backlinks from archived content? SEO penalty?
I'm curious, if I go to webmasters and suggest a change to an article in their archives (convincing them that the new link offers more value to their readers), how would Google look at that? It seems to me that if a two-year-old article all of a sudden gets a new link, it might look fishy, and might even bring penalties with it. Thoughts?

1and1 - Ever had any problems? Link Analysis / SEO
Hi there guys, I have a website (www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com) that I built quickly using the 1and1 service in the UK. I have been an SEOmozzer since about the beginning of June/July time and still not seeing any link info. It also seems to be struggling in terms of SEO. 1and1 have their own built in tools such as modifying certain SEO parts of a website but it really doesn't seem to do much. Our main site (www.advanced-incar.co.uk) has gone from strength to strength since using SEOmoz so im at a bit of a loss. Any help / advice anybody can throw my way would be great! Tim

Redirecting a previously expired domain - any SEO benefits?
Is there any SEO benefits from registering a previously expired domain name that is still linked to form an authorative source and 301 redirecting it to another site on a similar subject? Obviously first benefit is giving users who are clicking on the link to be sent to a site on a similar subject that just to a dead link.
