the main priority of the site is user experience and the advertising comes second. i am not experienced in advertising and this is why i am asking for advice as i am not sure how to layout the page or where to put adverts for google adsense.
can you explain more about the right side bar and why it would add value to the user experience please. could you also show me an example of a good page layout for adsense adverts so i can get this right please.

If you aren't as interested in your user experience, and mostly focused on the adsense results, you need to do visual ads. All of these ads are lost in the layout......
In addition, you should figure out how to add a sidebar on the right hand side rather than extending in a horizontal across the top......think about how google displays its paid ads.....at the top and then on the right side bar.......the right side bar would clearly show they are paid ads and would add value to the user experience.
Hope this helps.

Google Remarketing Conversions - Possible Issue
Hi All, When it comes to Google Adwords, when considering conversions, Google assigns each conversion back to the click that originally drove that visitor on the day they clicked. so, even if someone converts today, Google would show that conversion as occurring two weeks ago when the visitor originally clicked on a paid search ad and came to my site. fine...whatever. My question now is if we use a remarketing campaign through the Display Network, and someone converts, will that conversion be shown under their new visit or back on their original click where they did not originally convert, causing them to be included in our remarketing audience? Cant seem to find a straight answer anywhere and hoping someone out there has some guidance.

Goal Tracking in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I just want to ask if you have videos or blogs about setting up goal tracking using conversion page or a "thank you page" in Google Analytics. This will help me to get how many inquiries (from contact form) I am getting and for me to know where they came from using Google Analytics (countries, source/site they used, time on site, category page and landing page, etc.). #2 question - In case I don't have a "thank you" page, is it possible for me to get these "goals"? Do I need to insert a code in each of the "send" button in my contact form? Looking forward for a positive response from you guys. 🙂 Thanks, JC

Goals and funnels in Google Analytics
I have an e-commerce site and I'm trying to set up goals and funnels in Google Analytics. I've set the goal URL to my thank you page and am now setting up the funnel steps from home page through category page - product page - shopping cart - checkout. I seem to have set it up wrong though because according to the funnel 100% of the of the people coming in to the home page exists from there too, even though I can see that they have moved on to a category page. I have obviously several categories and product pages. Is there a way to set it up to include all category pages in one funnel step and all product pages in another? The way the website is set up is like this: Categories:

How do I get Google to rank the right page?
My site ranks #1 for Arabic Interpreting on Google UK. This great, but it's ranking my home page rather than the my specific Arabic Interpreting page. The home page shouldn't really rank for this term as it has very little connection with this exact term. This means that while the site ranks great, the conversion is pretty much zero. How can I get Google to rank the page I've optimised for this term? I know the ranking will no doubt slip but may the conversions will be better. Can you help please?
