Has Anyone Heard from Google?
-
After submit RR last week, we got the following from Google:
"We've received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: http://www.butterflycraze.com/
We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each request."
We got discouraged that Goodle said that it'd reconsider if we are no longer in violation. However, we have about 4500 unatural links created by SEO co, who has proceed with some, but, we aren't seen reduction of such links. In fact, it went up. I need advise as how to remove the following (they are the few site with bulk links):
-
fantake.com: have their webmaster info, however, since last request, we still have 1200 links from it.
-
blogspot.com - is there any way to remove links from such site?
-
onlineunionmall.com: don't see any contact info on their site
Some suggest us move on by building good links, but, to dilute the power of 4500 unnatural links, it would take forever.

I told Google that SEO company promised they will remove as best as they can. I don't know how it sounds to Google.
-
Yes, I did tell Google their name. Now, SEO Co. give me run around about removing the link.
But, from the letter above from Google, it stated "If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site.". Sound like Google doesn't care who did it.

Tell Google it was the SEO co's fault. Did you give up the name of the company in the reconsideration?
-
This is not a manual response, it's actually an automated response. I would continute to build content and links to the site. I hope you explained your effort in trying to get rid of the links etc. That should take care of it. However considering the massive penalty messages sent by them, you'd wonder how long would it take for them to do anything for each one of those. Has to be something somewhat automated, but it can't be.

Hello Guys! On 01 November 2013, one of our website's traffic has been dropped by more than 70%. We had added plenty of domains to the disavow tool, I am just wondering if its a Google's update or the disavow tool has destroyed the site? Any ideas? 9p3sN3p.jpg

Bing and Google Showing Different Backlinks In WMT
I'm trying to get my head around this one as I have been diligently building good quality backlinks to my website over the past 8 weeks. I'm particularly proud of the several PR7s and PR8s I got through credible service reviews, however I notice some of these links show up in Google and others in Bing WMT - but not both!! Clearly I would like credit from both SE for all the links I have achieved. Is it just a waiting game for one to catch up with the other (Bing is ahead on the higher PRs)? Is there a way to submit the list of backlinks to the SEs so I can get the credit from both? Any insight would be appreciated...

Are site profile links from sites like Quantcast still a Google friendly quick win?
I heard one of the speakers from Link Love suggest getting an easy high PR link from Quantcast.by creating a site profile page. What is everyone's opinion on the value of this type of link when blended with other types of link building activity. Low, Moderate? What is the best way to find these types of link profile opportunities? Any one have a good list?
