How to get past PA and DA value for a specific URL ?
-
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there is a way to get the past PA and DA value for a specific URL ?
I did run a small SEO campaign targeting a couple of deep pages over a month on my site and I would like to measure the efficiency of this campaign but I forgot to write down what was the PA (I know more aloess the DA) of those pages before the starting the campaign. Is their a way to retrieve the historical data of PA/DA ?
thanks

There is currently no way unless you are running an active campaign to track the DA / PA.
There is no function (or at least none I know of ) to see past DA / PA values.
That might very well be on a number of wish lists and something in the offing.... but for now - no dice. I think the costs for rolling this out and the infrastructure needed has in the past made it not possible.
On a separate note, there is a historical page rank checker here: http://www.seomoz.org/toolbox/pagerank
For anyone wondering what PA (Page Authority) and DA (Domain Authority are, here is a good article:

Solving URL Too Long Issues
Moz.com is reporting that many URL's are to long, these particularly affect Product URL's where the URL is typically https://www.domainname.com/collections/category-name/products/product-name, (You guessed it we're using Shopify). However, we use Canonicals that ignore all most of the URL and are just structured https://www.domainname.com/product-name, so Google should be reading the Canonical and not the long-winded version. However, Moz cannot seem to spot this... does anyone else have this problem and how to solve so that we can satisfy the Moz.com crawl engine?

Can using url builder for campaign tracking impact link equity?
We have used the URL builder tools for building custom links that are placed on our referrer websites mainly for campaign tracking in Google Analytics, but when you use a shortened link on another website how does that impact the the link juice or equity? Is there any negative impact on the link rankings? Or should you provide the specific landing page url to the company that will be posting a link to your site?

AM I the only one getting misleading titles in OSE?
I am trying to locate directories in my competitor's links using OSE. Here is the workflow I am using: Filter all results to external sites only, group by site, linking to any page on the domain. Export results to csv. My competitor is in the web design industry. So I try to filter the titles of the pages linking to the competitor to look for titles containing directory. But when I click on the link for "Windsor Internet Web Design Hosting Ontario Canada Directory" I get a page with the title "Kitchen & Bathroom Showroom | London Ontario | Bathroom Vanity Showroom" Are the results really this misleading?? or am I doing something wrong here? Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.
