Ability to track previous PA?
-
Hi Mozzers,
I know I am able to view my DA over time, but how about my Page Authority?
I have no problem tracking this on my own in excel, but it would be nice if I could find a historical record of our PA for certain pages so I have something to reference.
Thanks!

Hey Zora,
Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a way to track PA over time because we only track historical changes within the campaign, which is not based at the page level. We're working on a feature which will allow users to track details on specified pages on their site. We plan to include PA over time in this type of report. It sounds like this will be useful to you, but its not scheduled to be released for a few more months. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that causes.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

What's the best way to keep track of keyword rankings
Here's the deal. I keep track of my keyword rankings with the help of Rank Tracker from seopowersuite.com for the most part. I ran it on a daily basis and my keyword was not in top 100 for a few months. Moz.com panel shows pretty much the same (not in top 50) for the same months. That said, if I check that keyword ranking in my Google Webmaster Tools (avg. position) it says that its position (ranking?) was on average: 49, 7, 7, 8 (for the last four months). So, I'm not sure how it's even possible? How come Rank Tracker and Moz don't see any rankings and Google gives me sorta decent avg. positions at the same time. I assume that avg. postion means that same as avg. ranking, right? I'm not sure what I'm missing here.

Question about SEOMoz Pro and Root Domain vs. Subdomain tracking
I currently have two Pro campaigns set up. They are both tracking the root domains of two different e-commerce sites. I also am tracking three competitors for each company, in each campaign. I have those set up by subdomains, like so www.Competitor.com. So in my Historical link analysis I am getting MyRootDomain.com, compared to www.competitor1.com, www.competitor2.com and www.competitor3.com Is this a problem? Would it be better for me to switch my company campaigns to track subdomains too, or to switch my competitor tracking to root domains. This is probably pretty rudimentary, but it never even occurred to me until just now. I realize that if I switch to subdomains for my own company tracking this would necessitate setting up a completely new campaign. This would be a problem because I am maxed out on my 1,000 keywords. Last but not least, does the fact that I have been tracking my own site root domains compared to competitors subdomains mean all of my competitive domain and link analysis is, well, garbage?...because I haven't really been comparing the same things?

Why is open site explorer not showing the top links that if found previously.
In previous months ago open site explorer listed many other sites linking to mine. I have checked those sites and they are still linking to my site. Why doesn't open site explorer list them?

Tracking Keyword Positions
Hello! I've been working with the various Google Docs Spreadsheets out there taking advantage of web scraping using xml and the seomoz api. I want to be able to track keyword rank by week, I've been playing around but can't seem to get it nailed on, I'm looking to put keyword in column 1, domain in col 2 and keyword rank on google uk in col 3. Anybody done/seen anything like this in a G spreadsheet? Cheers Jamie
