I have been using Big Commerce for about 3 months and have been satisfied. It's very user friendly and has a lot of features included in the base monthly fee. I looked at Shopify (and to be honest, their website templates look better), but couldn't get around them wanting to charge a percentage of my sales. My website is www.onlygrainmills.com if you want to see it/give feedback.

I am a Pinnacle Cart re-seller and it is a good full featured cart. The main thing is to pick a cart that meets your needs and budget. If you want to talk more about your needs PM me and we can talk about your criteria.
It is important to create a criteria list so you can easily compare carts. Do you need?
1. One page check out (I highly recommend this)
2. Do you want / need product reviews
3. Gift cards
4. PCI Compliance ?
5. What is is shipping pricing - does the cart support it?
6. Who is your merchant service provider? Are they supported.
7. Do you need Sub-Product skus for drop shipping.
8. Want to market to people that abandon their carts ?
9. Of course SEO friendly (does not mean SEO perfect)
10.. etc.etc
So first make the list and then compare the carts.

I agree.
One of my online store is with BC,
http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/
Only thing, they are NOT multi language...
We need a multi language store!

I don't know these shops. But i think on this moment the best SEO multi language shop is Magento ?

I have reviewed ashop and pinnacle cart, this was about 12 months ago.
I ended up using bigcommerce for is's ease of use, support, customization and growing list of add-ons included in the price. Also well structured for seo

Can anybody recommend a good UK based SEO
Looking for a company or person willing to work on a small company website in other words not expensive 🙂 I looked on the recommended list on the MOZ website but they mostly in America and mostly only too willing to work on large company websites. There wasn't anything catering for a one-man band business like mine which is letting holiday cottages www.endeavourcottage.co.uk. I have just started talks with a responsive web designer, but if I got the right SEO company maybe they could do both but not necessary.

Who's best but affordable custom shopping cart provider (e.g. 3dcart, big commerce, shoppingcart)?
I'm planning to put up a buy and sell site for shoes where people can upload shoe listings on their own something like ebay.com though we're not the ones who will process the payment. The site we're planning doesn't have a buy/checkout button and paypal integration so it will look like a catalog. We will just add a contact number/email in the product listing so a buyer can contact and personally meet the seller. Let me know if this can be done in Wordpress + e-commerce plugins. I would also like to know if there are custom shopping cart providers that allow Facebook or Twitter login/sign up integrated in the platform. Let me know if this is also possible in Wordpress by adding a plugin. Thanks in advance!

Using (duplicate) content in different contexts
I have three distinct hosting products, each solving three different problems. While these three products have different features in terms of functionality, they are all built on the same platform. Now, in terms of marketing some features of the platform, f.ex. High Availability, is significant to all of the products. How do I go about to include information about this feature on all product pages without getting penalized for duplicate content? Is there a way to tell Google that parts of the content on the pages for product 1-3 is duplicated with intent, or duplicated from f.ex. a page that explains the technical aspects of the platform?

Using H1 Headings - More than 1?
I've known about avoiding the use of more than 1 H1 Heading Tags, however, with HTML5 is this going to change... at least that's how I understand it. According to HTML5 Specs, Each 'section' can have an H1 heading, which at least theoretically means certain web pages that have multiple "sectioning elements" can have more than 1 H1 heading... true? False? What I'm looking for here is some insight into the ramifications HTML5 will have on the use of H1 tags. And would like to know how search engines currently handle this and are they anticipated to change as the HTML5 outline algorithm becomes widely supported? thanks in advance Kelly

Using "#" anchors to display different content
If I have a page that has an area on the page that acts like a widget and has three different tabs. These tabs provide 3 different types of information relevant to the page subject matter. By default when someone goes to the page one of the tabs is showing but you have to click on the others to see the info on them. Is it OK to use domain.com/topic#TAB1, domain.com/topic#TAB2, domain.com/topic#TAB3 to create shortcut links so that people can land on the page and have that predetermined tab showing. I'm wondering what search engines might think. Essentially all the content of all three tabs is there for people to see but they'd have to click to see the other tabs. I don't consider the content to be hidden. But I'd like to hear people's thoughts.

Are HTML sitemaps still in use today?
I'm trying to help a client understand the importance of having a well-organized HTML site map as a method of helping usability. As part of this process, I spent some time searching for good examples of well-organized HTML site maps, and found that many sites don't offer one (including SEOmoz). I'm wondering if webmasters and/or SEOers think they aren't valuable any longer?
