Competitive Link Finder

Hi, just wondering if I am the only one who is not having much luck lately using the Competitive Link Finder .
In the past it has worked pretty well. But as of the past week or so, it has only returned on link. I know there are many of them which should be found.
Anyway, just curious if I am solo with this issue.

I had the same issue and dicovered that the tool is very sensitive to how the URLs are enetred. Make sure that you have removed http:// in the URLs so that all URLs are in the format www.competitorsite.com
That should do the trick!

Unfortunately, Competitive Link Finder is an older labs tool that doesn't always work, but that we are no longer providing support for. As it mentions on the tools page, with SEOmoz Labs tools, PRO users can test-drive tool prototypes and give feedback on the the latest SEOmoz technology and product design, but we do not offer support or guarantee data accuracy for these prototype tools. If you’d like to leave feedback, please do so in the SEOmoz Feature Request Forum.
This tool will sometimes work perfectly fine, as it seems to be working for DesignerBoutiqueMenswear, but it also has a lot of issues and, again, we can't guarantee that it will be consistent at this time.

Open Site Explorer - Link Export Not Showing Same Number of Links
Noob question. I'm using Open Site Explorer to hunt down some external links for a website. In the attached image (post-pressing the filter button), it says I have 889 external links, but after I've downloaded the CSV, I only get 695 links. Why the difference in number? No link data for my domains + still no adwords data
All 3 sites In my campaign have no link data analysis done. 5 to 6 months after you said you were working on it Adwords data is still not available in Keyword analysis Partial service is understandable for a few days but not for months. How can I download all the inbound links to my Site?
Hi, From Site Explorer, I want to download all the inbound links linking to my site: www.comm100.com/livechat/. But it seems that there is a limitation. I can only download a part of the inbound links? What should I do? Or is it because my account is free trial? Do I have to pay for it? Please help. Thanks,

Competitive Link Analysis Tool?
Hi, I ran a competitive link analysis report today and back came quite a few domains that 2 or more of my 5 main competitors link from. Is it worth me submitting links to these sites? And would i be best served submitting my homepage URL or submitting a brand page such as Creative Recreation Trainers? I want to target that brand but don't want to do it if my main URL is better? Reg. internal followed links
Our site is new. So far we have a 534 pages. Our competitors have around 5000. I'm working on building more, but that's a lot of catching up. The report says we have only 174 internal followed links. Why is that? I have all links set in the site to be nofollow links, but not the inside links. I also have lots of landing pages, which are not added to the main menu, obviously. But the the main menu shows up on all landing pages. Just wondering if either the nofollow has anything to do with it or the landing pages set up, or the numbers are accurate. Any ideas? Thanks!

OpenSiteExplorer is not seeing all my inbound links
I know I have back links to my site from about 5 or 6 websites and most of them even show in my Google webmaster account but according to OSE I only have 1 inbound link. Is it normal for the OSE stats to be wrong? I really want to use it but am worried the info isn't going to be accurate.

Link Building
Hi is there any free ways of link building where you do not use exchange link sites. Also are there any free tools and paid tools that you can use to increase your links to your site. I have a couple of new sites and i am trying to bring more traffic to them through link building and other methods and trying to find the best way of doing this. I have heard of people talk about free tools and paid tools but not sure which ones they are. any help would be great
