How Do I Know My Videos Are Indexed?

Hey Mozzers,
Ive followed a few tutorials around the web and created a video sitemap and submitted it to GWT.
The results were that 7 videos submitted and only 1 indexed. I cant view this information any deeply.
However, if I go to videos.googlecom and conduct a site:domain.com, I can actually see that all 7 of my videos appear as results.
If I then go back to universal search and search for the exact match title of the video along with site:domain.com, the page appear perfectly but without the Video thumbnail.

Are my videos indexed?

If yes, why are my thumbnails not showing?

Hmm. Well, it appears that they are indexed, but GWT is not reporting it properly. I'd probably check to make sure the Sitemap is set up properly, as it probably shouldn't have taken this long to reflect in GWT.
At least the videos ARE indexed? But perhaps not indexed fully enough to allow for thumbnails in the SERPs and any other markup.

Not the situation has not improved.
7 videos submitted in GWT only 1 indexed.
A site:domain search in videos.google reveals all 7 videos appear in the SERP - does this mean they are actually indexed?
No thumbnail snippets appear in universal search (even with +video modifier).

It's possible it will just take a while, how long ago did you submit them?
FYI - I came across a great tool that tracks your rankings for videos, can be found at: http://voot.net/. Might help in the future if you're submitting a large number of videos are trying to optimise for them.

YouTube Filtering Business Videos as Inappropriate Making them Unavailable When Safety Mode Enabled
My client is a public banking software company and recently many of their videos are unavailable to those browsers with "Safety Mode" turned on. What elements within these innocuous videos could be triggering the safety filter? Is there anything we can do about it? I've already reviewed titles/descriptions and reviewed the transcripts for words like 'sex" but I can't find anything that could be inappropriate. Is there any way around this? Is there a process for having this status changed? Thank you

Local Search Clean up Done. Now Best Way to Index?
I have spent hours doing some local search clean up and have a list of all the URLs to index, about 75. Is there a place I can dump these to get them all indexed quickly or do I have to wait for the hand of Google to come down and bless me with indexing. I don't want to dump all these to Google +, Facebook, or Twitter; that would just be wrong. Any ideas for fast indexing. I want them to all get indexed before the business address changes in a couple years 🙂

Do I need to use a CNAME for wistia video hosting?
I'm using Wisita for video hosting. My strategy is to allow other sites to embed videos to get links - I want the video linking back to my site not wistia or the embeding site. Do I need to use the Wistia CNAME or is a wistia subdomain acceptable?

Duplicate Video within site
My questions is about duplicate video content. I haven't been able to get a clear understanding from reading the previous threads. We are hosting our videos with Vimeo and embedding into our site. I want to embed them in 2 locations - on our features page with Java (Can be seen here http://simpletexting.com/features/). I also want to embed them in our resource section so that we can link to them directly. I am wondering what the best way to do this for SEO and whether there is a chance that google will penalize us for duplicate content? If leave out the videos on the features page in the XML sitemap, does that address the problem? Videos impact on SEOmoz On Page Analysis
For several years we've heard that Google rewards pages that include videos with significantly higher page ranks, however I do not see video incorporated into the On Page Analysis. One of our competitors ranks 1st-3rd on a several keywords while the On Page Analysis tool grades them as an F for the same keywords. This competitor uses video more than any of the others, and has far more YouTube subscribers. I suspect video plays a role in their excellent SERP. Is there a video evaluation tool within SEOmoz? If not, is one coming, or is there a reason why it would not be appropriate? Does anyone have suggestions for incorporating the use of videos in SEO evaluations and recommendations? Video Optimization
Our videos are not appearing in Google video search. We use Brightcove for our videos and thety are in embedded in the site as flash and html 5. We are using meta data on the Brightcove videos We have added a video sitemap and submitted it to GWT - but after several months, our videos are still not showing up Any ideas how we can address this problem and better optimize our videos for the search engines? While we post some of our videos on Youtube, we use Brightcove when we embed and publish the videos on our site
