Does SEOMOZ have article writing software?
-
As far as i know the community of SEomoz.. i don't think they even prefer using content writing software as mostly writing is all manual and need lot of research and analysis instead of some machine to write for you...
Although SEO Gadget have a content generation tool that can help you get lot of ideas for writing content https://seogadget.co.uk/content-strategy-generator-tool-v2-update/

SEOMoz does not have article writing software, however, they have a number of tools that can be helpful when writing an article. If you have a specific topic in mind, you can use tools available for keyword research, research on sites that you could link to, and people that you could email or talk to that might have interest in your topic, and therefore might link to your article.
There are also a number of blog entries on topics that are similar, or similar-but-different, such as creating and marketing with Infographics.

No, we don't offer any article writing software. We do have a lot of resources regarding creating content, including our blog section on content at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/category/1 and in our beginner's guide at http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo/how-usability-experience-and-content-affect-search-engine-rankings.

Great content/news articles - but struggling to drive traffic from them
We publish 2-3 great quality news stories/posts on our sites weekly, but are struggling to gain traffic from external sources for them, other than our own blog and socials. We have followings for each of our sites, but want to expand and get our posts found in other relevant blogs, features, releases etc. The posts are 'Top 10 Tips...', 'How To... in 6 Easy Steps', 'What Makes a Great...' etc. All great things that people want to read about and share. All this of course helps towards the SEO of the sites, but the posts aren't written for that, they are written to guide and inform. My question is, how are other people getting their great content found online, talked about and shared? I personally think that our posts are awesome; containing useful information that will help people. Isn't that what it's all about?

What Content to Write - Hot Topic or More Niche Related?
Hi, Just for example, say you've got a shoe store but shoes are a non-searched-for topic on the informational side. Say fashion models or teenybopper shoppers are both hot topics. Would you recommend writing an article - one of the site's five >2000 word articles on a hot area of the hot topics? Or would you just stick to shoes topics? If you do write on the hotter topics, how does the shoe store owner write on these - they're out of his area of expertise? Does he need a content writer?

Too many articles within ecommerce site?
So recently purchased an ecommerce site to work on with lots of potential. The site was effected by Penguin update and now I am trying to fix up some issues. One of the problems I think may be the articles that he had written within the site. The site is an ecommerce site but has lots of articles like how to's and tips. A lot of these articles are not very fluent but seems to be written for SEO. Should I just remove them entirely or should I just stuff them in the back somewhere.
