How do you determine if Google thinks you’re guilty of Key Word Stuffing?
-
I believe that Google sees our website: www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/
as being guilty of keyword stuffing. I don’t see any specific tools on SEOmoz
that will evaluate Keyword Density as viewed by Google.Just to be clear; I have not attempted to use KWS as a SEO tactic. I feel that the
content of each page is written for the customer. I do realize that Google may
see it differently. I think that I am being penalized for the use of the words
Photo and Canvas. My domain name is “GetYourPhotosonCanvas.com” The business
name is “Get Your Photos on Canvas”, the website title is “Get Your Photos on Canvas”, and each page of our website talks about Photos and Canvas. I have tried to
vary the use of Photo with Pictures, Photographs, Prints, Digital Images and so
on. It is difficult to vary the word Canvas. I guess according to Google this paragraph
would be guilt of Keyword Stuffing!I have conducted some tests on other SEO site tools and some indicate that KWS is
a problem on my website. If you search a specific page title that contains either Photo or Canvas it does
not rank in the top 200 on Google, although it is #1 or #2 on Yahoo or Bing. Drop those two Keywords and the page shows up
as #2 on Google. I think that is a good indication that we are being penalized
for KWS.Pease take a look at our website and give me your opinion/advice regarding the Key
Word Stuffing Issue. Do I need to rewrite my site content for Google? -
Hi Joel,
I have been working on this for a few weeks now and nothing that I have encountered
in business has been this difficult or frustrating. I am just a small business
owner trying to make a living. You are correct it is a grind.I think that I read somewhere, there is so much information some good and some
not, that the algorithm looking at KWS was part of the panda update that
happened on April 24th and that is when We dropped off the grid. Don’t know if
anyone can confirm that.I have been monitoring the competition and realize that we are not page one
worthy yet and we were working on improving from page four for a very
competitive market. Now we are nowhere. One example of a search that led me to believe that it might be KWS is as I
mentioned adding one of the keywords, photo or canvas to a search.Example: Gallery Wrap vs Museum Wrap - #2 on Google but if you add Photos or canvas
or both we are not in the top 200.I contacted Google – their reply was no manual penalty was imposed.
Can’t afford to wait it out, so I guess I will rewrite my content to please Google.

Hello Ray,
First I want to say you have a really nice website. It's clean, responsive and well put together. You seem to be in the category of sites that were hit by the algo without it being warranted. The only thing I see is a lot of usage of the word Canvas, but then again you need to use that word because it is your product. The question is what can you do to resolve this.
- Contact Google directly and make an appeal ( Might not work since it was an algo hit and not manual )
- Do nothing and let it fix itself. This can work because Google does recognize that this is happening to legitimate sites.
- Re Write your content and try to find alternative words and phrase variations.
Also this might not be about keywords at all. What I tent to do is first audit my site. Then I audit the site of my competitors above and below me on the SERPS. What I gather from this is if anyone else is doing SEO work and moving up the ranks and in effect knocking me down.
Remember SEO is a Grind. You need to always be working on it.
I hope this helps.

How Google distinguish and ignore keyword attested with or in a brand?
Hi community, Generally there will be a primary keyword which everybody concentrates and expect their homepage or website to rank for....like "seo" for seo consulting or seo tools. There might be some companies with this keyword in their brand name like "ABC SEO". So this primary keyword will be all over the website being part of the brand name; especially in page titles and header tags. How Google distinguish and ignores this keyword in brand name to avoid giving more ranking boost to such websites? Will this keyword will be completely ignored being the part of the company name or their domain name? How Google distinguish between a generic keyword and keyword in company name? Thanks

A company claiming to have a proprietary software that replicates Google algorithm?
Hi all, Unfortunately, getting into a bit of a p*ssing match 😞 with a company trying to compete for the business of one of our clients and just wanted to some feedback from the community here. The company competing for the client's business claims to have spent $1 million to replicate Google's algorithm so they create a replica site (not sure I understand this) of the client site, then test and optimize on-page SEO changes in their software to determine whether the on-page changes are ideal. Sounds fishy to me. Thoughts?

How long for google to de-index old pages on my site?
I launched my redesigned website 4 days ago. I submitted a new site map, as well as submitted it to index in search console (google webmasters). I see that when I google my site, My new open graph settings are coming up correct. Still, a lot of my old site pages are definitely still indexed within google. How long will it take for google to drop off or "de-index" my old pages? Due to the way I restructured my website, a lot of the items are no longer available on my site. This is on purpose. I'm a graphic designer, and with the new change, I removed many old portfolio items, as well as any references to web design since I will no longer offering that service. My site is the following:

Google Places Rank Replacement
Hi Guys We have recentley done work for a client where they ended up position 1 for their chosen keyword, which was great. Since then there rank has changed and they are now first in google places rank but not on organic search at all, where as before they were on both? Any suggestions on why this may have happened? Not to sure at why google would have replaced the organic rank with the places rank? Cheers Chris
